Goodbye & Good Riddance

Good evening.

The word from nigh on 327+ sources this evening is that Arry ‘feel good’ Redschnapps has been vomited out of White Hart Lane.

There was this kid I grew up with; he was younger than me. Sorta looked up to me, you know. We did our first work together, worked our way out of the street. Things were good, we made the most of it. During Prohibition, we ran molasses into Canada… made a fortune, your father, too. As much as anyone, I loved him and trusted him.

Later on he had an idea to build a city out of a desert stop-over for GI’s on the way to the West Coast. That kid’s name was Moe Greene, and the city he invented was Las Vegas. This was a great man, a man of vision and guts. And there isn’t even a plaque, or a signpost or a statue of him in that town! Someone put a bullet through his eye.

No one knows who gave the order. When I heard it, I wasn’t angry; I knew Moe, I knew he was head-strong, talking loud, saying stupid things. So when he turned up dead, I let it go. And I said to myself, this is the business we’ve chosen; I didn’t ask who gave the order, because it had nothing to do with business!

Gone back 10 years. Great lets get Moyes. Maybe Martinez. Top 10 again. Can’t wait for the all clever ” Arry out” brigade to start commenting on CL when we’re a million miles away from it. Unbelievable. Truly brilliant . Fucking gobsmacked. Levy, you numpty!

    This is all bollocks…

How dare you? Call yourself a Spurs fan…

I agree, ‘arry wrote his own resignation speech with that interview on sky sports news last week

whilst he obviously blew our chances of a 3rd place finish this year some credit for a good few years at our helm, some good wins over both cheatski & the scum to remember.

our biggest problem is finding someone to take us forward, they’re isn’t many super candidates available who will be able to work with our spending plans, we’re £30 million down by losing the CL spot add to that the cost of firing ‘arry & his team, add to that the money required to buy in a new manager ……………

probably a £50 Million hole in our accounts by the time it’s all done & dusted, no wonder we signed the likes of nelsen

        This is so misguided.

Spurs have spent nothing in the last couple windows because of 2 things……

        (1) trimming the squad and wages from our 2010/11 season when the increased wages wiped out all but £8m of the extra CL money (Go check the club accounts if you don’t believe) and

        (2) uncertainty over Harry’s future (England/Jail).

We have been burnt in the passed buying players at great expense who then fall out of favour as the manager changes…Bent, Bentley, Pavlyuchenko etc I think if there was a chance to sign a “no-brainer” like Hazard then Levy would have invested, however I do not blame Levy for not trusting Harry in the transfer market if a year down the line Harry’s gone and his signings are surplus to requirements.

Short term deals were signed to put us in a great position this summer without having unwanted deadwood. We have a great core and the (new) manager can fill in the gaps with some of his buys. Nelson and Saha did a job, they are now disposed of at no cost. In the circumstances it is prudent, sensible planning.

There is no £50m hole in our accounts, we do not rely on CL money, we’ve only been there once…..Sacking Redknapp would cost no more than the rest of his contract (£3m), usually less.

Like all the other shit posted on the net about Spurs I’ll believe it when I see it from official sources.

Oh and if all the other rumours circulated recently by these ITK’s are anything to go by then I fully expect ‘Arry to have signed a 3 year extension by tomorrow!!

    • spursman79 says:

yeah, think i might start scouring the ITK network and make a website up based on there crap attention seeking rumours just like ole HH does here.

    • Minionas says:

      Me too. Christian Gross anyone…..

    • Spurstacus says:

Apparently I was in a meeting today to see that contract signed. According to my secretary.

      • Phil McAvity says:

Was that in America by any chance? Or maybe Spain? Apparently they are very close to each other!

        • Spurstacus says:

          Yes.

        • essexian76 says:

Is it a bird, is it plane..no,it’s SuperLev, they seek him here, they seek him there, they seek him everywhere, except in Tottenham of course-oh, well the poor sod can’t even mourn his mother without someone asking him about football ;-)

  • spursgeeze says:

Great respect for a Harry….you fucking tool

  • Jimmy says:

Harry is the best manager we have had in 25 years, all those who want him out good luck cos the only way is down from here I believe, Harry’s done as well as he can with his resources.

    • Harry Hotspur says:

Christ that was insightful. Can you pop back again in again in what, another 15 years? Jesus wept.
