Afternoon.

Niko Kranjcar ha sconformed he’s off to play for Dynamo Kiev. He has told sportskenovosti.hr in an interview about his International duties…

Clubs have agreed, the rest are still some small details, as I define my terms. I personally am not involved with that, I am dedicated team, I am left to people that I represent.

It’s a pity as clearly he was a very talented player that simply didn’t fit in with Arry’s plans. You’re either in the gang, or you’re not in the gang and it’s this philosophy that breeds disillusionment in players, rather than desire.

After a few bit parts in unmemorable/unwatchable Europa games Niko clearly lost heart and hopefully he can rediscover his passion for football in the Ukraine.

A real shame. Jimmy was a very underused resource, despite his limitations he was a player who could make things happen.

I remember an away game at Sunderland one horrible night where he scored a cracker. It kind of put paid to the myth that he couldn’t perform at tough away grounds. We could have done with him a few times at the end of last season when we were trying to force a result.

Good luck to him on his travels – He’ll be a favourite with the crowd I’m sure.

Not a great loss to us. I do rate him as a player, but he is at his most useful in the playmaker role and he is behind VdV and Modric in that department.
When he was called upon last season, he was so obviously unfit.
If he can’t apply himself to be match-fit because he’s out of the side, he’s not the sort of squad player we need..
Ta ra Niko.. And good luck to him.

Krankie’s injury record is ‘Andertonish’. Every-time he looked as though he was going to make a mark, he’d be out for prolonged periods, and then took a few games to get back up to speed.
Nothing to do with favouritism or rotation, just a piss poor injury record which led to a lack of playing time-and yet another player who was ineffective with VDV in the side!

We’ve sold a crock instead of buying one for once. Good luck to Niko he’s going to a nice slow paced sedate league where he’ll look good for 45 mins a game(35 more than he ever did with us) before deciding that running around was abit to much of a strain and retiring once again to his first love – the nearest bar. Given the chance this man would drink most of us under a table and then some,I was in the same bar as him and Bentley and he made Bentley look like he was tea-total. The best thing going for Niko is his Mrs, up close she is even better fitted than her pictures.
