€30M Moutinho & €18M Adrian

Good afternoon.

John Terry may have walked from Westminster Court clutching a ‘Not Guilty’, but his footsteps always tread sewage wherever he goes. I spotted this and it’s an excellent summary of what went on link

What is vital is that he is now properly dealt with by the FA and quite rightly done for bringing the game into disrepute. Something he, his father, his mother and his jackal of a brother have been doing for years.

Moutinho has been valued at €30M by Porto so say TuttomercatoWeb this morning. Which immediately says two things. He’s not priced to sell and those suggesting we’re close to signing him must know an awful lot that you and I do not.

ElMundodeportivo believe that the Modric to Real Madrid deal negotiations have ‘intensified’ in the last few hours. There has been a mumble that Benzema might be involved in the deal to break the burden of the big cash fee Spurs want. But I’m unconvinced about this.

For one, since I announced Benzema joining us on loan last Christmas he’s hardlt impressed. I can’t recall one memorable performance in the Lilywhite. For two, this just smacks of a journo making something up – as per the Carvalho tale.

Spanish organ Marca are saying that we’re in for Athletico Madrid’s Adrian. He’ll only cost €18M. This must come with it’s own warning too and could in theory be a tale sparked off the back of the player reportedly halting contract negotiations with his current employers.

YOU SAID Moutinho WAS IN TALKS LAST THURSDAY.PRICK

The amount of negative influence that Terry has on our game is disproportionate.

The knock on effects of his barrage of insults aimed at Ferdinand are immense. You could argue that he has cost us £30m in UCL income.

You have to remember that the FA got rid of him as captain and Capello spat his dummy out. ‘Arry was distracted and we stumbled to finish fourth.

I have always said that the Westminster Magistrates gave Chelsea an unjustified leg-up by putting back the trial date until after the Euros. If you remember, the case coincided with the end of the January transfer window and any delay meant that the FA could not conduct an enquiry until after the CPS had had their day in court.

Chelsea would surely have had Terry suspended for six or eight games if the FA had been able to deal with the issue and it would have been too late for Chelsea to sign another CB.

Chelsea sent a letter asking for a delay in the proceedings and I am at a loss as to why their request was granted.

Terry’s up coming suspension will surely be planned for and football’s open sore will be back on the pitch after a nice break.

    October 20th, anybody?

Agree with you on his negative impact on the game. I see they’re now talking of abolishing the pre-match handshake, just because Terry is so universally unpopular, they want everyone else to stop the sporting pre-match gesture. He’s a total embarrassment.

News just in…Following Terry’s England punishment of Rio Ferdinand serving his ban. Rio has also been ordered to serve Terry’s 8 match ban, next season.

Happy to see him play his first game back against us… hopefully, our pace & movement will make him look like a mug, as he did against Arsenal and Liverpool, last season… ;)

It was a cringeworthy miscarriage of justice. The man says (pardon my french)..

“fcuk off, fcuk off … fcuking black cnut, fcuking nobhead”

But claims, MID TIRADE, to have raised an inquisitive intonation..

“fcuk off, fcuk off … fcuking black count? fcuking nobhead”.

Justice has been taken for a ride. The man is human garbage and an embarrassment to english football.

  • while Benzema may not be the best,he is a powerful figure up top and knows how to score. NOt sure what the price would be but he’s not a bad bet if Levy wants to finalize the deal with RM and there is no where else to go

    • Gary B says:

If we were to exchange for a RM striker I would prefer Higuain, just as lethal but a far better all round team player for my money. Mind you, my money would only buy his bootlaces.

  • ScottParkerVsTheWorld says:

Is it the same Adrian Rocky was always shouting for when he won a fight? She was a bit short, but maybe still a level up from Defoe.

  • Moutino has probably decided AVB or not already and we are all waiting on the Modric conclusion

    • Gus says:

So you think the 30M quid asking price is just posturing by the club or media?

      • Razspur says:

They want £31.5m, that’s the Porto buy out clause, he’s good but not that good.

        • Noble says:

A word on this particular “buy out clause” 31.5 refers to Porto being forced to sell if the lads wants out, and a club is willing to pay that. Porto can accept any offer, expect to get him for 19 million pound

    • I dont think 30 mil etc for Moutino is just posturing.
They know United are in or have been in for him. They know that AVB wants him and he has a relationship with him from Porto. They also know that there is obviously a shortage of creative midfield players.
It not posturing its more about supply and demand
