Sorry to go off thread, but someone just e-mailed me with the following story.
She is a friend of mine in Thailand (no dirty jokes plz) and a friend of hers is currently studying in London. Anyway, this lovely lady (arsenal fan unfortunately) asked her friend to go to the Emptycrates to buy a genuine replica shirt for her son. She refuses to buy any of the good quality fakes that are on sale locally.
Her friend encloses the receipt in case their is a prob (£45). She looks at the label: “Made in Thailand”. She tells me she cannot tell the difference between the replica and the fake she refuses to pay £3.20 for.

God forgive me but I actually asked… there should be a label embossed with a Nike swoosh with “Genuine” and a serial no. at least there was on the last one…according to my nephew

Just looked. The label is partly obscured by the thumb holding it for the pic, but it looks like security devices are non-existent.
Not sure where this is leading really. I realised many years ago that dog shit, looks and smells the same all over the world. Apart from China, where they cover it in red ants and fry till crispy.
