Midget Gem Negotiating Out, Kaká Negotiating In…

Hello young lovers.

Jermain ‘What? What? I didn’t see you! Bruv, it was on so I took it’ Defoe has been in talks with Reading.

I’ve mixed feelings about the Midget Gem. He’s scored so many goals, so many important ones. Specifically ones that got us out of schtuck. Yet his spiel his routine lacked variety. Receives ball, turns, shoots, winces.

Where would he fit in under the André Villas Boas high line? I do not know. What I do know is that he was struggling to get starts under Arry, the manager that has been a fan of his since he was knee high to linesman’s flag.

The interesting mumble – and mumble is all that it is at this stage – is the name of Kaká. Hold tight on the upper deck.

It’s well documented that Real Madrid has been somewhat of a career cul-de-sac for one of the world’s greatest players and I’m told that Los Blancos are looking for compensation of ballpark £20M for him. Bare in mind he was sold to them for them for a reported £59M in 2009.

Will it happen? Hahahaha. What I can tell you is that serious enquiries have 100% been made. This club is not mucking about any more.

The gloves are off.

I have seen Kaka slide literally inch perfect passes over 50 yards – but not recently. I don’t think he’d fancy the climate or the pace.
If Ade is worth £6 mill – then why would we expect any more for JD in this summers’ market?
My vote is to keep the guy.

Yeah but it’s a different story with Adey. It’s quite likely we will pay him a 10M signing-on fee up front, then pay him 100K a week – so he gets the equivalent of what we would have earned on a 180K across the same period. Citeh know he has to go, so they are willing to take 5M from anyone who can afford the 10M and 100K a week – which isn’t too many clubs.

JD will want 75K, not 180K, a week (I’m guessing) and won’t require any special signing on fee, so we will look to recoup what we value him at.

I am now very worried as this seems fantastic because I have always believed that ‘if something is too good to be true then it is a scam or a lie’.
Please let me wrong on this !!!

I would say the ref cost us the season with citeh handballs being allowed on the goal line, not sending off Balloteli for the stamp and various other crimes against fairness during the citeh game. Blaming Defoe for not scoring having been brought on for his usual 10-15 minutes is a little harsh. When you look at how much time he had and his score rate for that time in my opinion he would definitely be a keeper. Oh and he helped the defense .. he ran back to help which makes him less dispensable than VDV in my eyes.

Defoe started the game, there was no handball in the citeh game, maybe your thinking of Stoke…

And Defoe is awful which is why he has been second choice under Jol, Redknapp, Ramos and Santini…..do you seriously believe that he will be starting in AVB’s system against Newcastle…..no way……he isnt an AVB player he plays well as part of a 2 with a big donkey who plays everything to him.

If Miget Gem had been 2 inches longer we would have had Champions League Football this coming season, cost us at least £40m, I’m very forgiving but not to that extent.

Kaka’s salary would make Abeedabidoo’s look like he’s on a paper round. Looks well past his best.
I thought AVB told JD that he’s going nowhere. Probably won’t be happy if he’s only to get 10 mins a game from AVB – so can’t blame him if he wants to go. Will be disappointing if he does, he’s a natural finisher – a rare commodity at the lane.
