I’m finding the reporting across various websites to be really annoying. Find any half decent player in the world (especially any Brazilian currently negotiating a deal with an existing club) ask them if they have heard of Tottenham, they reply yes, but they are happy to stay where they currently are if no offers come in and that makes for giant headlines that ‘insert player name’ has rejected moving to Spurs.
This sensational rejection from so many players is based on no offer being made, no offer being rebuffed and no actually statement of rejection other than the say-as-little-as-possible I am happy where I am party-line.
But the rumourmill ITK world is alight with such bollocks today…
