the window is annoying and only seems to serve the super elite,i mean we are a big rich club but it doesn’t do us any favours,god knows what its like for others,do the authorities think it lets you replace early injuries or something,half the championship/mid to lower prem haven’t even got all their loanees in yet from the big boys

have to agree about brad,its not that i dislike him but should he really be our number 1 at 41,he was never that great in the first place

the window only seems to serve the super elite clubs really,needs to stop at the start of the season or be scrapped like the good old days

After watching us self-destruct yesterday, I think our display asked more questions than answers…
Why was Vertonghen only on the bench?
I thought Gallas was one of the players on there way out. Talking about players on the way out, why was Jenas on the bench?
Where was the Hudd?
I cannot believe that we have had all summer and we are still looking at players to buy, why was this not sorted out earlier?
Why are people saying that we just need another striker and then everything will be fine. I don’t think so!
In my opinion Spurs need to buy the following players and only ten can we keep up with the Manchester clubs and some other clubs based in London.
First player to buy is Jack Butland, forget about other keepers. With Friedel around, he would help Butland become a brilliant keeper. That will be the Goalkeeps position sorted for the next 10 years.
Then we need a midfield playmaker to replace Modric, this has to be Mountinho, or if he is to expensive for Levy, then maybe M’Villa.
Other Midfielders we could bring in are Adam Johnson or maybe Victor Moses (other players who can be used in a attacking sense).
Lastly, we don’t need one new striker, we need two! Llorente would be fantastic, however he will be looking at teams in the Champions League. So others who we may get… Rossi is possible but will he return to the Premiership? So who could we possibly get, Ade, depends on wages. Scott Sinclair could do a good job for Spurs. The person I think we could get is Daniel Sturridge.
We need to get these positions sorted out as soon as possible otherwise we could find ourselves in the wrong half of the Premiership table.
So this next week could define Spurs season, get things sorted Levy and AVB, if we have players available (Vertonghen) then play them….
Yes I agree with all that we don’t panic after one match. But the positions in which we need players have been there since we finished last season.
