We used to play all the neurotics on sunday morning. Nailbiters against the bedwetters, and if you’ve never seen neurotics play softball, it’s really funny. I used to steal second base, and feel guilty and go back.

Patience isn’t a virtue in football, as in real life it’s a necessity. If you think that footballers sit on shelves in some mystical footballer supermarket somewhere, beneath a shelf-talker with bar code and care instructions printed upon it? Some expectens of millions spent on a man who they can adopt and champion as ‘this seasons Messiah’ with the same expedience they’d employ buying a Happy Meal.

I’m already amazed…… that they’re still here. Another great bit of business prowess from the less hairy second coming. the lighting was amazing saw the opening and bits of closing,good stadium in all from the telly,roma/lazio have always had that stadium haven’t they or for a while now,it had a refit not long ago,but obviously not ideal,not many on the continent have stadiums like we do,wembley,twickers and now stratford is it called stratford.shame they can’t keep it for athletics really in its size,they could use it for concerts and almost anything they can think of,speedway?,banger racing :-D

I’m not sure how weathertight the roof will be once the winter sets in, roof was designed for the games only, the porn pikeys are looking at putting in temp seating on the track, that won’t work with the sight lines unless they start raising the existing seating or lower track or pitch i.e not viable – you wouldn’t want to start digging out round there, lot of german bombs

it’s steel frame so the actual framework will last forever provided you keep it sealed, the roof panels are pvc so will struggle with the uv & degrade, they were designed to be removed immediately after the games, the roof was needed so world records were valid apparently.
When you zoom in from the air it will look like an old Domestos advert where, although you can’t see the germs with the naked eye, you have to see through a really powerful microscope to see if there is any micro bacteriological life there.
