For all the grim emissions online today from the fretters and bed wetters, it puts things into perspective when your hear players spoken about so respectfully. Who knows, maybe this is what intelligent people do. You know, show some in the hope they receive some back.

If we have to settle for Adebayor this season I don’t think I will be too disappointed. What happens to Ade if Llorente signs? we have a disenchanted striker next summer and the merry go round continues, albeit with a superior striker at the fore. But lets face it, if Ade was someone elses striker last season, we’d be rather chuffed at the aquisition.
On top of that, The Modfather will be replaced by a quality AVB targeted midfielder such as Moutinho, Danny or Pjanic and if we cant snag a top target, a contingency midfielder will be signed on the cheap, but our contingencies aren’t always that bad. I could see a contingency list of Mereiles or even Kaka on loan. We could make do with that right? I’m happy to have faith that levy has it in hand, even if we have to wait till January for the answers we want. Whatever happens, we are the chicken badge army, we will survive I am sure
Could I suggest that DL changes his MO – as I think the other clubs are getting wise to his lat minute brinkmanship game. Just to break up the pattern I suggest that he nips out pronto at the start of the window and buys a really world class player for top dollar with no haggling,no squabbling,cash on the table. This will leave everyone else dead confused.
My approach will not work overnight but if he can keep at it for the rest of my life I’d be eternally grateful.

AVB is the perfect man for project lilywhite or whatever their calling it, he can rip the haeart out a club in double quick time…shame on any of you who suggest dawson is not good enough and should go, players like micheal dawson maintain the identity of a club, he has spurs in his heart, i believe his father is a spurs man, he has been immense at times for us. This situation with dawson is an example of what avb has been hired to do. Levy did too good a job with spurs and now it seems someones had a word in his ear cos his actions have become questionable. Draw with west brom today at best. Hope i’m wrong.
