Good evening viewers.

It is my genuine and sincere understanding that Inertia & Impasse are very close. Literally a postcode away.

This then from those that know all wot we don’t. Bless ’em. Let’s kick off with …from Ben via FTL:

Ade more or less now finally done
Should be announced tomorrow latest Tuesday

Told for moment no other strikers being talked to
Despite them saying he was I’ll or injured Lloris pulled out last night as wants to join us ASAP

And additionally which means also from Dragon1 on the same site:

Defoe will be allowed to go

Once we get two forwards in

Has two yrs left on deal so last chance to cash in and really does not fit in to AVB system all that well

Player gets almighty hump when not starting so if we can what we need player wise and our value is met on jd which is north of ten by way he can go

Ade still likely to happen,re damao if you think Levys hard to deal with try dealing with international directors player will 100 per cent come and wages not issue but goalposts change daily ad they have on this deal on and off for the last. 18months

As I’ve said since may our net spend will end up being circa 20- 25 million absolute topshe won’t be sold till our incoming done
Shifting him ain’t the issue we have interest it’s getting our incoming biz done,Defoe happy to go any prem club where’ he’s guaranteed startWe get what we need he is off fact!

He wants to play he’s like a broken record I’m 29 I need to play,he will be behind ade and whatever other forward we sign so third in line for one forward position and in jan won’t be worth what he is now

Player would like to go,we will sell so do maths

My point being? None and I mean none of these schmucks know schnichts. And trust me this is the cream of this seasons very bad crop.

Still expecting Adebayor, although this is starting to make the Vertonghen deal look like a dash in the park.

Frankly if we sell Modric, buy Adebayor, bench Defoe, keep Tom off the chips, and give Sandro the game time he deserves, there’s hope yet.

Whatever your sauces say, Leandro Dolmio’s just not gonna happen.

Let’s just panic instead, eh? Football isn’t as easy as it appears on FM believe it or not. We have to wait for the “big boys” to conduct their business, get everything done afterwards, then go for our targets. Apart from Chelsea and PSG no one has really done serious business this window YET.

To criticize Daniel Levy, as some on here have done, I find mind-boggling. Seriously. Fuck off.

Agreed, these spastics think the real world is like fifa on the x box, or whatever they are called, what do they get out of make beleive transfer storys? nothing, just more bell ends like themselfs, adding each other, i expect they wank over facebook “likes”, absolute melts the lot of them, ive just spent £65 on a Adeybadameo shirt, may sue barker sit on their faces.

    • jfdit says:

by your less than educated response levy’s waiting to pounce as soon as the ‘big boys’ have finished their business right?

two questions – what if the ‘big boys’ do their business with 10 mins left in the window?

how will you feel if we start the season with kane & defoe as our only strikers until the next transfer window?

  • LLL says:

I reckon Damiao is going to happen. I don’t know anything which makes me as ITK as anyone. It just seems that since it’s been going on for about 2 years, it will come to a head. Hopefully this week. We are obviously looking for a couple of strikers. Adebayor will be one. Damiao looks most obvious to be the other. Aside from anything else, which other clubs have been strongly linked with him? That’s right, none.

Then again, maybe it will be Defoe and Kane all the way. Don’t think so somehow. At least we don’t have Crouchy anymore. I know that happened a year ago but it’s still a comforting thought.

    • Clarkspur says:

Pure guess work from me, no inside knowledge or shite like that, but I think Adey will join. He’s probably said yes a while back but is enjoying making life hard for Citeh by sitting about.

    • Gary M says:

Damiao won’t happen, Levy’s faffin about with the Ade deal, 5 mill to the Mancs is giving him the screaming trots as it is.
Internationale want 40 millions euros for the Brazillian apprentice, even if Levy won fridays euro he would have to be dragged screaming over hot coals before he would even consider it!
Levy spends up to £16 million, hoping their is a sell on later in advance of that, thats ok until those players dry up…..because everyone is looking for them.

      • LLL says:

We don’t really know if it is Levy, Ade or Citeh dragging that deal out. Most likely some combination of all three and either way the wages are the key stumbling block, which wouldn’t be the same with Damiao.

Not sure how much money they want for him, obviously the 60m buy out is irrelevant. I do think we will bust our transfer record on a striker though, and I personally feel there is a dragging inevitability that it will be Leandro. Or that could be hopeless, wishful thinking on my part, that’s of course highly possible.

But Kane and Defoe? No. Defoe to Sunderland makes sense. They would take him in a flash, he would go anywhere he will start, Levy would love to cash in now I’m sure. But it only makes sense if we have at least 2 strikers sorted. Kind of going around in circles, eh?

        • LLL says:

Also the fact that Internazionale have already bought Forlan and just added Rafael Moura yesterday – would seem to indicate that they are braced to let at least one of their existing strikers go. The most obvious being Leandro. And his most touted destination is Spurs. It’s simple this ITK business isn’t it?

        • LLL says:

          Sorry, mean Internacional obviously

      • My Heart Is White says:

No, you’re wrong! Spurs & City have agreed, Ade is doing nothing wrong. It’s city who don’t want to pay Ade what he deserves. They are asking to break his contract, yet they don’t want to pay him a settlement. If a club breaks a contract they must pay the settlement, whether it’s for a leaving player or manager etc. Makes me laugh, so many people think Ade is being greedy.

  • Clarkspur says:

Someone on here hit the nail on the head the other day. Given the super fine margins between success and failure we have to take every single minute on the pitch seriously.

To be under-resourced for 4, 5, maybe 6 games with a further few breaking newbies in, is crazy. But I think that’s where we are – the same every year doing our bizniz in late Aug.

It’s all good to look back and think about the dropped points in March, April and May but we have to start to take August seriously.

We got a proper hiding against Citeh because we lacked the personnel to be balanced. Looks like we’re willing to take that risk again…

  • Frank (@sw19fh) says:

    spurspanyol
If I’m one who you think has dissed Daniel, I would just ask you how many points we manage to screw every season’s beginning….

    • `rich g says:

yes, because YOU can predict every game we win lose or draw, because football is that predictable, thats why we all love it, right?
