[Video] Covert Modric Tape Released

Good morning.

So Shakattack Don’t Ask have turned down an initial bid for Willian. What a shock. With four days to go prices aren’t going to be reduced, are they?

On a positive note I’m hearing that the slow burn negotiations for Birmingham City’s Jack Butland have advanced.

Anyway, Modric is done and we’ve gone into partnershhip with Real Madrid. Does that make Spurs the John Lewis of football? I could live with that. Anyone know the Latin for ‘Never Knowingly Undersold’ ?

What does this actually mean? Who knows, but it’s all rather exciting. A Ronaldo loan would be a result. Buckle up baby, this window just got interesting…

“The partnership agreement will see the two Clubs working together in respect of players, coaching, best practices and commercial relationships.”

This was sent in by a HH GilSpur this morning. Possibly one of the most bizarre and pointless pieces of Spurs footage ever committed to film. I nearly dislocated something ensuring that you lot got to see it as fast as I possibly could.

haha I remember being at the friendly v Roma 4 years ago and seeing Berbatov slapping hands with Modric. I think it was the only time they played together. That hand shake was like a passing of the fuck around with the Spur fans heart torch .Haha oh well fair well Ratboy You were class while you lasted ,time to move on and reinvest.

    • Yachtsman says:

Class on the field, no argument, but class off the field? That’s pushing it, what with the sulks in 2011 and the mutiny in 2012.

    • notsohotspurs says:

The boy was class. Best in a spurs shirt Ive seen for a few years.

Lets hope Levy has learned his lesson from the sale of Carrick. Never replaced him properly and it was all downhill from there.

Don’t like the way they were both tapped up, but the club have a kind of “How much are you prepared to pay?” attitude, which encourages this type of behaviour.

Both of them were short term Spurs men, and seeing as we made huge profits on both, it’s just like normal transfer dealings for me.

Nothing like Judas, who was Spurs through the ranks, walked out for nothing and went to join the Scum. The word ‘traitor’ was invented for people like him.

    • LLL says:

The Chelsea thing was pretty low on his part but I can’t blame him for wanting to play for Madrid.

Might be weird to say, but I was looking at the stuff of him arriving at Real and giving his interviews etc and felt kind of happy for him. In spite of whatever people said, he did always play 100% for us and I’m proud he was Spurs for 4 years. I hope he cements a place in the team and becomes one of the best in the world. I think he already is, but even some Spurs fans don’t seem to agree and can’t see his worth.

In the meantime, we do need to replace him with someone, something…

It’s hard not to agree with most of what Finn said at 11.25 pm (UK time?) And yet an alternative scenario might have developed as follows. I’ll be brief:

    1. Lewis sanctions the buying of the top players on the market whom AVB wants at the prices their clubs are asking (there’ll be some leeway in our direction in any event). Sealed and delivered before the end of this month.

    2. We have a successful season, say come second in the PL and grab a cup. Qualify for the CL. Create waves and acquire a top (money-wise) name-sponsor for the stadium. Construction accelerates.

    3. 2012-2013 sees us consolidate our position in the PL, reach the final of the CL, etc. Revenue improves.

    4. 2013-2014 and the stadium is finished. Revenue increases exponentially. Spurs’ world-wide marketing activities profit as success on the field continues. WHL’s status as a major PL power is established.

    5. Lewis and ilk sell out at a handsome profit, etc., etc.

But ENIC have to invest now.

    IMHO

    • Yachtsman says:

      Sorry. My mistake.

      3. 2013-2014…

      4.2014-2015…
