[Video] Covert Modric Tape Released

Good morning.

So Shakattack Don’t Ask have turned down an initial bid for Willian. What a shock. With four days to go prices aren’t going to be reduced, are they?

On a positive note I’m hearing that the slow burn negotiations for Birmingham City’s Jack Butland have advanced.

Anyway, Modric is done and we’ve gone into partnershhip with Real Madrid. Does that make Spurs the John Lewis of football? I could live with that. Anyone know the Latin for ‘Never Knowingly Undersold’ ?

What does this actually mean? Who knows, but it’s all rather exciting. A Ronaldo loan would be a result. Buckle up baby, this window just got interesting…

“The partnership agreement will see the two Clubs working together in respect of players, coaching, best practices and commercial relationships.”

This was sent in by a HH GilSpur this morning. Possibly one of the most bizarre and pointless pieces of Spurs footage ever committed to film. I nearly dislocated something ensuring that you lot got to see it as fast as I possibly could.

Let this Modric deal put to bed – once and for all – any claims that Levy is not a financial genius.

Last year he could have only got £33m for Modric.

By holding out, and with shrewd negotiation, this year he has got the club £40m instead.

I may be a founder member of the Dyslexia Foundation, but even I can see this is pure genius.

The transfer window for spurs fans is like a game of basketball for the uninitiated – absolutely no point in watching until the exciting bit at the very end.

Had the privilege of going to El Classico last week (at the expense of Spurs v WBA :-( ), and boy do Madrid need Modric. Barca embarrass them with their sublime possession game, and when RM do manage to get the ball they can’t keep it. Levy has played that game well, and got the best possible price so what more could you ask if the player is hellbent on leaving. Now the serious business will get done.

I’ve said it a milliion times before, the window has to close before the season starts, as it suits the so called bigger clubs, as they usually have all the money, and hold all the cards when it comes to attracting our best players. Although, you could say that the overlap cost United the title last season, as Man City were already a goal better off than their rivals after stuffing us at the lane.

So on account of us never having a chance of signing Mourinho, the “sharing of coaching ideas” equates to a mentoriship program for AVB

This is where the real entertainment begins. Firstly, the departure of a key player for big money, then the breathtakingly cheeky offer of £11.8m for a player Chelsea tried to buy for twice the amount. It’s gonna get good.

Classic, they call it the ‘Levy Lowball’.

Problem is that we don’t have enough time to make cheeky offers. Levy needs to march into Sharkattack Dontask HQ and lay a cool 20 million on the table, cup his testicles and say ‘the shit just got real.’ At the moment he’s conducting himself like a 19th century virginal coy lord gingerly wooing an experienced ‘lady the night’.

I mean, who needs actual football when the transfer window is this compelling. It’s like watching someone on CCTV play with matches in a firework factory.
