Good morning.

The latest Half Hour is here and with it we bring you comfort, warmth and shelter from the occasionally cruel world outside.

ODM and I have a look at the aftermath of the Norwich game and what is without doubt the crux of the matter, the loss of Luka Modric and the loss of Rafa van der Vaart.

There’s the release of two smash hit singles one of which may remind you of Saturday Night Fever and the other has more than a passing similarity to an old Eagles number. In both cases this is entirely coincidental.

Our guest is the eloquent Habib. Who is now HHH’s official Foreign Correspondent for Lahore and Enfield East. Should you wish to take part in future shows and represent your plot in a foreign field that will forever be Lliywhite then simply mail in on harry-hotspur@snack-media.com and we can discuss the opportunities that await you as an online radio star.

Do you think Modric is ready?

    (even chicken badge is sad)

    respect to habib.

one thing Defo as a sub. How about Livermore? If AVB really knew the game you were talking about on the show he wouldn’t be playing one second.

    • Habib says:

It is possible he really wanted to give him a chance to see what he was made of. This happens when you have a damn good pre-season and the jury is out on whether he can step up in the EPL.

One can make an argument (not sure I’d make it) that our two draws and one defeat had more to do with not having the proper attacker more then having Livermore defending less. Certainly if you look at shots on goal per game it is one that can be made.

I find Livermore lacks talent and vision. He is a physical athlete, more static and less mobile than Jenas, but in the same mode.
If he did something special like Kyle Walker can then there would be a chance.BUt there is no point.

Habib aren’t spurs today reminding you of chelski last year? 9 month in Academica, season at Porto that had a team worthy of Champions League finalists… only 3 wins in last 15 games in Premier league. I was crying inside watching Norwich. It is obvious players do not want to play for him.
Speaking about Kyle, he had quite a few very special games last season. You can’t put him in the same sentence with Livermore who epitomizes everything that is wrong with English NT

I was crying too. You know failure becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Since this whole AVB thing started I’ve been saying that we need some quick wins because we have a young squad and I fear they may stop believing and once that happens we are screwed. Good thing is that we have a real emperor of a leader in the dressing room. When Parker comes back and we have a few wins under our belt we can rise again. But we havent been cut any slack on the luck front. So I’d say we have three more games. If we get 7 points from them it’s game on!
