Team News & Crisis Update

Good Morning binge drinkers.

T minus a few hours and the club we all hold dear is being torn apart by lies, discontent and double-dealing as the The Daily Mail reveals that Emmanuel Adebayor has ‘grown frustrated at White Hart Lane, having made just three substitute appearances this season.’

The article then continues to explain that since the season kicked off that Ade has been hampered by lack of match fitness then a hamstring problem. Therefore completely and utterly negating any scrap of truth there may have been in the piece.

Perhaps I should hold heart to heart talks with NASA regarding me not being selected as an astronaut. The Daily Mail could then run a piece covering the crisis talks, concluding with the acknowledgement that I am a overweight bloke in his forties who hasn’t even passed his cycling proficiency test let alone trained to be a ‘spacemen’ unless you count having been an avid Planet Of The Apes fan as a kid.

We covered the chalkboard and your fab predictions yesterday.  Player news is pretty much as you would expect. We don’t have Scotty Parker, the are without the deathbed love child of Myra Hindley and Oswald Mosley.

Whenever you go to WHL, check under your seat. Chances are there’s a ball under it from Walkers crossing practices. Any seat. Check it.

Not so much desperately unlucky, more so Cheatski desperately lucky….thought Hudd and Azza were outstanding but too many of our side were well under par…..Friedel, Gallas, Sandro, Dempsey and Sigurdsson were awful, silly mistake from Walker at the-end but great shot minutes earlier. Adebayor couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo which expains why AVB left him out.

Why did he make him his marquee CF signing in that case?

The key player, for me, regarding that loss, was Gallas; when he headed a clearance from the far post for their 1st goal; behind for a corner or behind himself for a throw would have been preferable to dropping it at the middle edge of our penalty box. Also, his side-foot away from the edge of our 6 yard box would’ve been better placed anywhere but to the middle edge of the penalty box. Also, I wonder whether Verty, Caulky or even Walky would’ve been as slow to close down for the other. Also, was Gallas lucky not to be given handball for his goal? I’m still not sure but maybe I’m just picking on him.

Walker was made to look sillier than he actually is by a very sneaky shove in the back by a clever mata; can’t help wondering if this will encourage our Harry to lay into him some more, even though we looked well beaten by then, I suspect so.

I called it 0-2 so got the goal difference right but letting 4 in at home is a sign that something ain’t right at the back, and for me it’s more about Gallic gaffs than a pedestrian Walker. Verty & Caulky in the middle please and a new right-back or fit A&E asap.

We were beaten by a better squad, fair do’s, now crack on.

The Eyeballer, though p*ssed off, is not as distraught as many of the fans today. We gave them a good run for their money, were unlucky not to be 3-1 up at one stage and two calamitous goals handed the win to the Blue Racists. This was not our strongest XI, against a ‘not-far-off’ strongest XI for those w*nkers.

AVB got the goalkeeping call completely wrong today. No way should Brad have started – Lloris is now our No. 1, and Brad is now the Europa Kid.
The Eyeballer believes Lloris would have stopped Mata’s second goal.

Walker (it pains me to say) is Chelski’s version of David Luis – at least one howler per game, the question do we get away with it. His antics with Mata towards the end seriously backfired on him and he deserved what he got. He will learn from it, I’m sure – he is very young still.

Defoe, Lennon, Siggursson (second half only) played well with passion and purpose. Dempsey has to realise the step up in class required at Spurs, that kind of performance today was Fulham standard – step it up, hotstepper.

Vert should be kept at LB. Benny is too much of a risk. Gallas, made up for his shambolic header in the first half, but then gifted the second goal, and didn’t cover himself in glory for the third goal – but the through ball was supreme from Hazard.

The blue Racists have a ‘front’ four worth probably £150m – we have Defoe, Ade, lennon, Sigg and Dempsey – nowhere close. Hudd did ok, Livermore was his average self.

The match today has shown that our aim for this season is 4th spot – we are probably in that battle with Arse, Toffees, and maybe a ‘Newcastle type surprise team…already City, United and Chelski are too far ahead to catch….

The Eyeballer fully supports AVB’s project and believes we will win titles with him – it takes time.
