Would You Adam & Eve It?

Good afternoon.

Boy is it quiet out there. Quiet as the grave. Unless you’re Jimmy Savile of course. In which case you probably found yourself shouting,‘What’s all this then?! Goodness gracious!’ as the marker to your fetid, child molesting bones was unceremoniously ripped from the ground above you late last night/early this morning.

But one snippet emerged courtesy of Tom Collomosse in the Standard as he tantalisingly dropped a new name into the mix…

…and AZ Alkmaar midfielder Adam Maher …also thought to be firmly on the radar at White Hart Lane.

Maher’s name has turned up in relation to the Premier League before today. Back in September he was allegedly scouted by Cheatski, Sunderland, Manchester City and Newcastle. Farther afield he has allegedly attracted the interest of Barcelona and AC Milan. This may all smack a little too much of his agent having put a good shift in, but this needn’t detract from his actual talent.

Hailed as the AK Alkmaar wonderkid this 19 year old won the Eredivisie Young Player of the Year award last season, which of course rings a small bell delicately engraved, ‘Jan Vertonghen.’

Fwankly anyone who gets paid for wanking in these difficult economic tines should be applauded…of course a latin climax will be on the cirriculum.

I was at a ting on Saturday when a mother put on a pair of comedy/ joke glasses. You know the sort, over size and spangly, (the glasses not the mother). She lent down to her 2 year old and said…

Know then, know then, know then!

Yow! I nearly choked on my vollyvont.

What a difference a win makes. I have read articles today on the internet regarding AVB saying “AVB finally steps out of Mourinho’s shadow” and “AVB finally finds a home in Tottenham Hotspur”… 2 weeks ago the media were trying to crucify him!!! Just goes to show if you beat Manchester Utd or take a big scalp suddenly everything is turned upside down. So fickle. This is a perfect example of why it is best to keep a bit of perspective. When we don’t play so well we are not shit and when we beat man utd we are not the champions.

It was 0-0 on Sunday at half time… didn’t hear any boos…

There are those who saw only Harry’s results and there are those who looked beyond.
The people that just saw results and couldnt understand why Levy got rid of Harry would obviously not give AVB a free pass.
      Its understandable (comprehendable)

But for those that looked beyond the results, who saw Harry as a salesman rather than a manager and AVB as a thinking manager rather than a deck chair attendant, they took the positive view, that any thinking manager and especially one that was seasoned on some success in Europe, was better than the barrow boy.

It doesnt take much to stir 80% of the people.
There is only 10% hard core on any side of any issue.
