Tottenham Hotspur are making bold moves in the final stretch of the summer transfer window, pursuing multiple attacking signings in rapid succession.

Spurs have already agreed an £85m deal to bring Savinho to North London from Manchester City, a long-term target who is now just awaiting formalities before joining the club.

Omar Marmoush, another Manchester City forward, is also expected to complete his move to Tottenham within the coming days after already agreeing personal terms.

Both players may be considered surplus to requirements at the Etihad, but head coach Roberto De Zerbi sees them as key components of a rebuilt Spurs attack.

De Zerbi appears laser-focused on overhauling Tottenham’s frontline this summer, having already reshaped the club’s midfield and defensive options earlier in the transfer window.

The ambitious recruitment drive does not stop with Savinho and Marmoush, as Spurs have now turned their attention to Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.

Football FanCast understands that Tottenham have launched their move to sign Jackson, putting them in direct competition with Aston Villa for the forward’s signature.

Spurs are in direct contact with Chelsea as they look to understand the conditions of a deal, with the Blues placing a £65m valuation on the striker.

That asking price would push Tottenham’s total summer spending to around £400m if Jackson’s move and other outstanding deals are all completed before the deadline.

Aston Villa had appeared to be the frontrunners for Jackson, with reports earlier this week indicating they were preparing a bid amid their ongoing battle to retain Ollie Watkins.

Villa were forced to reject a £45m offer from Al-Hilal for Watkins, and Unai Emery admitted publicly that a sale remains possible if a suitable replacement can be secured.

Jackson had looked likely to be that replacement, but Tottenham’s intervention has now thrown the race wide open with time running short.

With just over a week remaining in the transfer window, any potential deal will need to move quickly for Spurs to get the signing over the line ahead of their rivals.
