The second time courtesy of the boy Bale; who upon getting an opportunistic through ball finished confidently…
…and the second time the reminder was depressing. It was courtesy of yet another under-hit wasted opportunity from himself.

He was a legend, used to bang them in fairly regular as well. I still recall, with a smile, him breaking down the line and leaving Bhoularouz (sp) on his arse en route to a great result over Chelski.
His partnership with Berbatov was mouthwatering and could have been a dynasty at the lane for years and years.
He broke our hearts when he went to Liverpool (shortly after professing that he wanted to end his career at the Lane)
Our relationship with him will never be the same.
He showed us NO loyalty, thus, he should receive none from the fans or indeed the club.

But I tell you what, fans of other clubs dont treat their former greats that way. And by the way – how about some consistency? Sheringham did exactly the same thing as Keane, but was welcomed back as some kind of returning hero. Klinsmann too. And both, I can assure you, came back as the ‘big I am’ and on considerably more dough than they earned first time around. Ane in the case of Klinsmann, he gave nothing like the service Keane gave us. His ‘greatness’ derived from 20 goals in one season. Keane scored well over 100!
