And then of course we have the sainted David ‘expenses” Clammy with his Rent-An-Intellectual-Property-Lawyer announcing that THFC trading as THFC outside of Haringey would constitute ‘passing off’.

Just read something that about sums up LOCOG for me and the way the negotiations over the stadium have been handled.
Got the email about Olympic tickets and it says to pick the event you want and the price level you are applying for. It also says that you have to fill in a minimum or maximum price that you are prepared to pay, in the event of either short or long demand (and you can damn well be sure they’ll never be short sold).
So, in effect, the tickets will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. So much for the peoples Olympics that we’ve paid for. It’s so revolting it actually makes you feel a bit sick.

Just one more thought that I think I lost in all of this. Why didn’t UK athletics put together a bid with AEG (Or a similar company) to create a 25,000 long-term athletics stadium & entertainment complex on the site. Why are they insisting on piggy-backing another bid? Have I missed something in the legalities that prevented them doing it???
Ok, we have an expensively designed new home, all we need is somewhere to put it.
I don’t like the idea of mixing it with the porn pikey crowd, because we will get tainted by the association, Surely there’s a third option? get our map books out and see if we can come up with the third option lads/lassies.
