…merchandise.
Football memorabilia is best employed when sold to raise money for good causes.
Many of us wouldn’t mind the odd signed bit of gear but there’s always that voice in our subconscious that wonders why a middle man should be making money out of a bloke (who just happens to be a superstar) running a marker pen over a nylon shirt or whatever.
This is much ‘nicer’ and the money goes to a good cause.
The Boy Bale has donated a heap of goodies to an auction in aid of his old Cardiff Primary School where he first learned to hone his footballing skills, Eglwys Newydd.
Gareth and his Spurs team-mates have donated signed shirts, boots and goalkeeping gloves so they can be auctioned to help fund the Barrister’s fees to prepare a legal case to fight the school closure.
The ‘closed’ auction will run for two weeks with the person bidding the highest amount for each individual lot being successful and becoming the proud owner of one of these highly sought after items, some of which were worn by the Spurs players in their recent Champions League success against AC Milan.
The auction will close at midnight on Saturday the 9th of April.
If you would like to make a donation direct to the campaign as well as making a bid on one of the items, go to www.savewhitchurch.com/fund-raising/

I like The Daily Mash. Sabotage Times is a good ‘n too, sir.
Wanker, guess its one way to get your hit counter rolling.
it works for you
Damn right, Michael.
The alternative of course is writing really high brow stuff to attract Huntingdons disease patients such as yourself.
Guess which route I opted for?
Arsenal has a much better pitch than us at Spurs because there is more shit played on it.
Many a true word spoken in jest, HH.
If we loose at Wigan their departures will be become that much closer to reality.
I’m hopeful we’ll smash Wigan into next week. But these relegation boys are wounded beasts, they lash out. You know, like Miss Cromer after 6 bottles of WKD ;-)
