West Brom indoors then and I promise to do my best to not be the stuck record I have become in such instances. You know what I’m talking about. We go to work in the most proper fashion against a good team (and Arsenal) and then we act like confused goats against a so called lesser sides.
If we play against this lot like we did against Le Arse, we’ll smack this mob 4-0 or more. West Brom aren’t awful, far from it. They sit 3rd in the Barclay’s Premiership Form Guide.
Might I be candid? I’m getting somewhat bored ‘hoping’ that we get our act together when playing this type of opposition. Our strikers need to wake up and detach themselves from this ‘one of them games’ mentality.
Let me hopefully hit home with this one…
Arsenal are a bunch of whining gits, apologists and blah blah blah’s because the management allows it. Let’s distinguish ourselves and win purely because we’re fundamentally better. No ‘bad luck’ no ‘tough to break down’, no ‘they’ve been on a good run’.

Two goals from strikers and still we can’t win. Problem is they can’t score from inside the box. A bunch of good crosses, but not a chance of anyone getting on the end of them (ok, Pav had one glancing effort). That is until Crouch enters. But we all know what happens then. A&E better not be out for long. Although I guess it probably doesn’t matter now that our season hinges on ManC being even more brittle than us.
Just noticed that our goalie is on 4 yellow cards. Watch him get himself suspended for the ManC game.
just noticed that everybody we play is now trying to score from distance against the same keeper and funny enough they appear to be succeeding
a suspension or two might help us win a game
Having just watched the game rather than listening to it on the radio I would say that Gomes was not a fault for either goal.
For the 1st BAE was out-muscled by Odemwingie who then finished well. Their 2nd was a superb finish that no keeper would have got to IMO.
Before HR arrived 5th was our best ever Prem finish yet many are calling for Levy\Harry to go because we may only finish 5th this season.
We’ve got a very good young squad (our best since the Prem began) that requires tweaking. Perspective people.

If I said in feb that we would only take 4 points from 5 games against blackpool, wolves, west ham, wigan & west brom most people would have called me a fucktard – there’s the rub that’s what we got
IMO both levy & ‘arry have taken us as far as they’re going to, we have already peaked in terms of league form last season and as posted previously it seems like ‘arry is getting his excuses in early for the failure to maintain progress
I’ve enjoyed this season, some great moments but will we see the milans & madrid @ the lane again? not likely without significant investment in proper players who don’t fluff their lines when it matters
