Uninspiring Niko Agent Quotes

It’s not easy.

Krankie was a player I immediately took to. One reason was every time he got the ball he went forward with it. Am I easily pleased? Hardly. Intent is a serious thing. People get sent to prison for it. And Niko’s intent was invariably to attack.

I’ve just noticed I’m talking in the past tense.

As we’ve discussed before this morning, Arry has his favourites. He’s a bit like Bill Murray in ‘Hope & Glory’-  if he’s your friend then you’ll never want for a better friend. If he’s not your friend then your life becomes a raging sea. Okay, maybe not a raging sea as such but you could certainly find yourself looking to play football somewhere else.

Kranjcar for some reason has not become Arry’s friend. I understand having Gareth Bale ahead of you in the queue could mean you’re in for a long wait, but Steven Pienaar? Do me a favour.

Krankie is an enterprising and technically gifted player. Why isn’t he getting more game time and why are we getting ‘begging quotes’ from his agent?

“Niko is not happy with the situation at Tottenham at the moment. He wants to play. It is a shame that a man of Niko’s quality is on the bench,” Aliaj said.

“He is loyal to the club and has a contract but it is difficult for him.

“It can be a problem when a player is not playing. When he is not playing he is not happy. He feels down.

“Some clubs in Italy are interested him. Lazio, Roma, Juventus — they are all interested, as well as some teams in Spain and in Germany.

“It’s normal to have teams like these interested in a player with such quality.”

Stenna Line good news: Internet is free.

The breakfast to/from Dublin is toilet as well as expensive.

I procured two ‘bespoke’ breakfasts for Mde de H & myself horribly hungover. I ordered for ‘her’ scrambled eggs on toast. The grinning monkey replies, ‘Is that a full breakfast, sir?’

Mde tells me that my, ‘no’ was probably audible in
      Pakistan.

      Wonkers.

two of the most disappointing parts of this season for me don’t even include losing badly to real madrid, nor does it include our possible lack of 4th place or higher finish. to me the biggest regret is thaut we didn’t even get to successfully rotate our squad, blood some youngsters or have even a vague whiff ofglory ij the domestic cups.

Since you’ve gone from a compentent speller to an awful one, I can only conclude you don’t have as much a “smart phone”, but rather a “not very bright phone”. :-D

Anyway. We bought Pie****. So clearly Kranjcar is now surplus to Harry’s requirements. Cos he’s a brilliant manager :ermm:

It seems we all love krankie. He’s undoubtedly got a raw deal the last couple of years. What I love more than anything is that it isn’t him making these noises, but his agent. He just shuts up and gets on with it. Perfect professional.

Obviously peanut’s purchase had nothing to do with actual shortcomings of our squad. It was a bit of irresistible business for the money men. Nothing wrong with that, really. Same reason we ended up with krankie.

I don’t buy the “hasn’t become Harry’s friend” line. Harry clearly rates him. He’s coached him before and bought him. He knows what he’s about. The problem is that he only rates him as an attacking player.

Pienaar, for all his shortcomings, does have a decent work rate, and covers a whole lot of ground tracking the ball and closing down. He can also play on the right, which krankie simply cannot.

I think if we fully committed to a 4-5-1 system, krankie would have opportunities. But none of our forwards can play on their own. As it is, with our 4-4-1-1, he can only realistically play as cover for VdV. But if VdV doesn’t play, Harry immediately switches to 4-4-2. Still, it would be nice to see if krankie would manage to add enough firepower to make it worthwhile.

Oh god, I’ve gone and done it. Apparently a better striker to lead the line is the answer to all of the world’s ailments.

Have those Libyan rebels considered buying a new striker?
