This just in from a poster calling himself The Godfather on the message board FTL. ‘Just had it confirmed from his agent David Geiss that we have NO interest in his client. Infact, he went as far as saying that there is currently no concrete interest in him.’
David Geiss is indeed the Chromosome Kids’ agent. So this at least lends credence to it. I had a fish supper in a pub on Chiswick High Road once called the Codfather and that was textbook.
Pity that Redschnapp’s stock is so low with supporters that despite all his achievements nobody put it past him to ship in a waste of space like Cole…

This rumour ruined my weekend. I honestly felt like going round LEVYS house and chaining myself to his rose bush!, the pure contempt of us signing this idiot. I can now sleep well tonight and Levys rose bush is safe tooo. :-)
Its funny,it had a bad effect on my household too,we don’t normally bother too much with the rumours but that one felt real and a big step backwards.Hopefully we’ve dodged the bullit
Spursman79 I think you will find that we called for Hoddles head ’cause he was about to get us relegated! Yeah Spurs fans are completely fickle and we do expect a lot but if the rumours are true about us selling Modders and buying Joe Cole I’m gonna start watching short mat bowls or something.
There are no rumours about us selling Modders only a journalist putting 2 and 2 together to make 5. It’s quite sad that people believe what they read in comics who have to invent stories to sell themselves.
Harry’s stock is low on the majority of forums (Vital Spurs is particularly spiteful towards him) but overall he has done a decent job. Yes, we dropped too many points against lower teams but if anyone watched those games, we were a decent striker short of winning them comfortably. I don’t get the criticism of his signings of “too many player over 30” as we signed Gallas last season who proved inspirational and have signed Friedel who has been consistent for years. We haven’t signed Cole or Parker yet so judge him at the end of the transfer window. IMO Parker wouldn’t be bad anyway to replace Jenas if he goes. Just wish the fans would stop jumping the gun until you see the player on the official site with the shirt.
