Makes me just wanna drive down to Sandbanks and give Harry a shake. There are valid points about Gio, but if you weren’t given a fair crack of the whip (and in my opinion, the odd game isn’t) then your commitmet is bound to waive. Play 4-2-3-1, with Bale at LB and Walker at RB. Play Lennon on the left of the 3 and Gio on the right, both cutting in and the full backs overlapping. If we could just get someone like Benzema in to play the 1, with VdV behind him. Dawson and King should be our 1st choice CBs and two from Luka, THudd and Sandro as the 2 in front of the back 4.
If we could just get two forwards in who could play on their own up front (Leandro for the future and Benzema for the now would be my preference!). The squad would be pretty strong. Just need to trim the fat.
Does your boss promote you to give you a try at something or do you have to prove you are worthy of a promotion?
My boss isn’t too worried about what I’m doing at 7.10 on a Sunday evening. I have meerly stated my opinion, apologies if my thinking that that was what blog-sites were for. I’m not advocating that everyone should share my opinion. But at the very least thought it may generate healthy debate. Alas, your response has proven me wrong.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for a manager to ‘manage’ and ‘coach’ players to get the best out of them.
I don’t think Kenny Dalglish would make cracks about one of his players being more interested in wine bars than training. He’d manage them either onto the pitch or out the door.
I think it’s naive to call this an Arry bashing comment, but does he communicate well with foreign players? I think he probably doesn’t.
Gio was undoubtedly at fault, but I think any other number of managers might have better success with the lads who don’t speak the Queen’s.
Actually thought G2S looked pretty good in the Mex USA game. Seemed alot fitter and faster then when he has ever played for Spurs. I guess its not easy being never given a run in the team.
