Bonsoir. That is your actual… okay I’ll just get on with it. Tempers are  understandably fraying by the hour. If not by the bleedin’ minute.

It’s pretty bloody clear that this guy is shaping up to be the last guy we take to our hearts. Unassuming, diligent all that jazz but in the final analysis he was a wrong’en.

But do not let me lead you to your decision. I believe this poll to be true and fair. As will be the flaming envelope of dog poo I intend to have left on Modders’ doorstep once I get his address.

Vote. Get it off your chests. I would.

Tell Chelsea if they love Modders so much they can have him, all they have to do is pay for a new 60,000 seater stadium for us, if not then just fuck off, but report Chelski to the F.A anyway for tapping him up. Modric saw ££££££s in front of his eyes and he decided to jump to them, he signed a new long contract because he was worried that no other team would want him, just like when we brought him

  • Chirpy says:

I vote to ‘bench him’, but in practical terms that could be damaging to the squad’s morale.

Modric can go, but not in this window and not to Chelsea. I think a loan, ideally to a non-EPL Champions League team, would now be the best outcome in the short-term.

Don’t let us down again Levy.

  • TMWNN says:

“Benching” him is pure fantasy, it just won’t happen.

  • theotherstu says:

Can I put 2 down please? I want him benched or sold to anyone but Cheatski (or Manure)
By holding on to him, we show players like Bale and VdV that we’re not a selling club any more.
However, if, for instance, Inter, Real, Bayern etc. come in for him and offer a decent value, then off he trots.

  • elfranklins says:

Sell him…do it fast and let us avoid another Berbatov incident.
But as i suspect there will be no contingency plan for replacing him, and while our competitors get stronger, we underpay our stars (Modric 45,000 per week whilst we pay ledley ‘Once a fortnight’ King 65,000 per week) and fail to expand our squad sufficiently.

The mantle has been set: No champions league football + low wages = midtable mediocrity.

Im off for a latte and a current bun! :-(
