Good evening.

Fresh from the Reebok our Arry was on talkSPORT tonight and a few revelations emerged. Arry didn’t appear to know that Juan Mata was Chelsea bound. Not being cute, but some well placed sources called this a day or two ago.

Off the back of this, Arry immediately announced that to him this meant that any Modric to Second Hand Fridge deal was off.

When asked specifically about Modric, it was interesting that his stance had notably changed since last week. ‘Not for sale’ he said. It would appear that the Chairman has eventually got his message across in an entirely understandable fashion at long last.

Gone is the rubbish about the boy not being happy, gone is the wishy washy flim flam. ‘Not for sale.’ Well done Arry. Next time, perhaps you don’t need to be told twice, eh?

Last up is that the Adebayor deal that ITK’s have been calling done, is not. The wage issue drags on. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not crowing. I want him shipped in. Just saying that I sincerely hope that we are still trying to land other targets.

Harry fuck up you bent bastard, yid army

  • Indyfan says:

Harry hasn’t changed his tune at all. He’s always said what a great asset Luka is to the club, tho’ he had said as we all know that he would prefer to sell him to get other players in, bearing in mind how this whole deal of Chelsea waving huge sums of money at Luka would affect him. Now that the Mata deal is done Harry is truly hopeful Modric will stay – and, as I have predicted, Levy will discuss a contract revision with Luke some time soon.
    All’s well that ends well.

    • Paul f says:

Why should modric get a new contract? He has a perfectly good one with 5 years to run. Any increase in pay could only be granted in return for a longer deal. Why else would we pay him more? And given that most armchair experts say modric will stay one more year at most, why would he agree a longer deal? It doesn’t make sense. And rewarding his behaviour this season with a pay rise is just plain wrong

I don’t think there was much in that to be honest, Harry was prompted by the presenter, ‘will there now be talks about a new contract?’ and Harry just started waffling, ‘Oh yeah, yeah, I think so, I think the chairman will sit down with him in a month or something…’

Just saying words. For the sake of it, like.

I also find the idea of a player who signed a contract very recently being given additional benefits (read bribes) for not breaking that contract?

      Wow.

That’s like getting caught shoplifting and instead of being prosecuted, the shop gives you what you stole to discourage you from trying to steal it again.

      Nuts.

Its like a convicted looter being guven the punishment of a trolley dash around their local electrical store. He should be incarcerated in a Spurs Lodge loo and fed rotten root vegetables under the door while being tortured with a line of cheesy chunks being left just out of his reach.

Remember Rooney the Looney last year?

      • Essexian76 says:

Well, he has effectively broken his contract. “His head’s not right” WTF does that mean other than he’s not prepared to play for the club. The guy’s in breach of contract and shouldn’t be paid a bean. Let him rot away, without pay, but under no circumstances should Chelsea be allowed to benefit from this. Levy has more than enough to take them to the cleaners and should do so without further delay.

  • TMWNN says:

What happened to the last player whose head wasn’t right enough to play?

What the fuck is going on when you have the manager live on national radio intimating that a player is feigning injury so as to push a move through to another club?

If this cretin had been bollocked by Levy, I find it hard to believe that his response would be to phone up Talkshite and…well, talk shite. Unless of course it’s not only rat face who wants out.

    • LLL says:

      Exactly.

By saying what he did, all we will now have is days of news stories about Modric’s head ‘not being right’ and how he is feigning injury. In other words, Harry is throwing out more bad PR about the Spurs camp and encouraging Chelsea to really go for it.

Dunno about knuckles wrapped, but he does need to be STFU

You sound the the kind of guy who likes conspiracy theories. Harry just speaks his mind. All the time. Incessantly. I really don’t think there are any agendas here. His actions and opinions change contantly. We knew all this before he became manager, why expect a 65 year old man to change? Bottom line is, he has worked wonders at spurs. We just have to live with his annoying traits

      • TMWNN says:

You can live with whomever you like, speaking for myself, the sooner he’s gone the better as far as I’m concerned.

        • Paul F says:

You can live with the next Ramos, Francis, Graham, Gross etc if you like. I’ll take my chances with the manager that has actually delivered (7th, 4th, 5th, 1/4 final Champions League, Vs 11th if we were really lucky before).

You dont actually expect someone better than Redknapp to take over when he goes do you? If so, why? I like Levy for what he has done in general, but his hiring of managers (be they coaches or DOFs) has been generally poor. Hoddle (ultimately an expensive failure, much as it hurts us to admit it), Santini (OMG), Ramos (vamos, please, just go), Comolli (the clown). The successes have been purely accidental: Jol (hired as an assistant then caretaker, and frankly the luckiest manager we ever had in terms of points Vs performances); Redknapp (the only person available at the time Ramos finally died his lingering death).

In short mate, be very, very careful what you wish for. It might just come true

Will be interesting to see if Modric plays tomorrow night.
Skysport are saying he will not be in the squad.
Adebarndoor will not be able to play for us for several weeks even if he signs tomorrow. He is not in our Europa squad so could not play Thursday, cannot play against Man City and then there is an International break week.

Hi all! I have never been on one of these sights before but I understand ur pain as a spurs fan! I’m actually an itk! I won’t say how but its nearly as close as u can get to the club! Now I have heard diarra is done barring something ridiculous! Also the Adebayor scenario is a tough one as spurs and city are weighing up the best options for both! City want him off the wage bill and spurs are trying to work out a deal where he comes on a free but we give him a massive signing on fee and reduce his wages in with our structure! Now the hold up is basically spurs still want a loan and adebayor wants a longer contract than 3 years! So it can go either way! He does want to come but like many footballers greed is getting in the way! The alternatives I have heard is zarate with kranjcar going the other way and we will give them 10m plus a very random one that no one is expecting…. Kevin doyle from wolves! I hope this helps as I feel everyones pain!!! Coys!!

where did I put my stones?

      Dannyboy,
I find it unsurprising that another ITK has come out of the woodwork. It is also unsurprising that another ITK “won’t say how”. Kevin Doyle? you are having a laugh!!
I just wish we could get some real news about some real transfers of more than decent quality.
Cahill anyone? Samba maybe? Diarra Definately!
      FFS COYS!!!!

      • Paul F says:

Samba is apprently on strike at Blackburn. I wouldnt touch him with a barge pole for that reason. What a wanker. There is another reason I wouldnt touch him, and thats that he isnt good enough.

Re the ITK talking about Zarate. Same Zarate who was relegated with Brum, I assume (actually I know that it is). And he is worth more £10m more than Kranky is he? Its interesting you say that, because he really isnt. Next.

    • Ledge says:

      “I’m actually an itk!”

      :-D
