Good evening.

Fresh from the Reebok our Arry was on talkSPORT tonight and a few revelations emerged. Arry didn’t appear to know that Juan Mata was Chelsea bound. Not being cute, but some well placed sources called this a day or two ago.

Off the back of this, Arry immediately announced that to him this meant that any Modric to Second Hand Fridge deal was off.

When asked specifically about Modric, it was interesting that his stance had notably changed since last week. ‘Not for sale’ he said. It would appear that the Chairman has eventually got his message across in an entirely understandable fashion at long last.

Gone is the rubbish about the boy not being happy, gone is the wishy washy flim flam. ‘Not for sale.’ Well done Arry. Next time, perhaps you don’t need to be told twice, eh?

Last up is that the Adebayor deal that ITK’s have been calling done, is not. The wage issue drags on. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not crowing. I want him shipped in. Just saying that I sincerely hope that we are still trying to land other targets.

As arry said about Mandaric” he’s a top top payer”.”he said Somethin bout tax , I thought he said taxi and told him no Thanx “

I do not believe Mata and Modric are similar players and the possibility exists Chelsea will try to buy them both.
Mata will give them the width they are desperate for but they still need some guile in centre midfield.

The actual news story that’s been going around in every paper for half a week and which a premiership manager somehow knew nothing about is that Abramovich was ready to sanction 60m for Mata AND Modric

I look forward to the day where Harry says “No comment” or says “sorry I can’t do an interview I have a football team to manage.”

Oh and as this window (along with every other) has proven, if someone claims to be ITK and a Spurs fan they should be stoned and not in the nice way. None of them are Spurs fans, they do more harm to our reputation than good and quite frankly they’ve been given too public a voice for FAR too long.

That’s why I have used the “hide” button on Newsnow for almost everything.

      • Benson says:

lol bet your feed doesn’t have much beyond match reports and stories about 3MP getting his hair cut

          And HarryHotspur.com.

Honestly when you think about it, most of the stories are nonsense and purely designed for “bumping”. I didn’t really start to enjoy Newsnow until I hid the Daily Mail, and I found the more I hid, the more I enjoyed. Proof, if ever it was needed, that ignorance is bliss

  • Burton says:

You lot call yourself Tottenham fans?!? How about you all shut the fuck up about how “transparent” Redknapp is and start being a bit more positive and i dunno maybe . . getting behind the team and our manager? COYS!!

    • Edspur says:

I’d rather be behind him. Less shit comes out the back.

‘Burton’ You are right in some ways. He is a top manager and having been to every away game last season my commitment is not in question! However its a problem worth mentioning he should be more careful with the press don’t you think?

      • Burton says:

danny yeah i agree sometimes he doesnt say the best things and sounds pessimistic but i’m sick of looking at these message boards and people slating him he’s done wonders for us!! I’d rather we signed 2 players than a brand new 11 like a certain mr ramos did and have an awful start . . . 2 points from 8 games ring bells?

        • danny says:

ha yeah i have heard that phrase once or twice! COYS! IN HARRY WE TRUST (sort of!)!

        • SpurredoninDublin says:

          @Burton.

I don’t disagree with you in general, and there are to many too many curmudgeons as far HR is concerned.

However “2 points from eight games” was three years ago, and football is one of those businesses where you are only as good as your last days work. A few times last season, the work was very poor.

Incidentally, it is not often mentioned but it was really five points from nine games. HR claimed the credit for the match where Clive Allen was caretaker manager.

Can I suggest the official site?

You appear more suited to joining a religious cult than supporting a football team.

Fans are entitled to say what’s on their minds.
