Good evening avid reader. And sorry to wake you up.

This should be good. Aside from which, it’s inspired by the delectable thing that is @louise_s_page. Other unpaid Ad spot quotes for hot bruntettes upon request available.

Here’s the gig. You are a Spurs related person. You share your New Years Resolution. You might be the most brilliantest.

You could be Jermaine J****, or Modders or van der Vaart, the Boy Bale or even Arry. Heck, you could be David Pleat. Good golly missus, you may opt to be Timmy Sherwood.

But what we want is the persona you chose to demonstrate – via your very own brilliant wit and comedic wisdom’s New Year Resolution – f u n n y.

The funniest New Years Resolution wins £50’s worth of Vision Sports Publishing books. Fifty quid!

Don`t know much about Achilles injuries but at last Daws can resume full training, great news. He did have a setback in Oct, trying to jog on it after the cast was removed but the Nov op must have done the buisness. Why would we even consider buying Cahill if we have a Top Top international CB chomping at the bit to play, sure it will take him a month to adapt again and reach full match fitness but with a football brain like Daws it`ll be like riding Chris Hoy`s bike.

CB’s at Spurs are a bit like €500 notes, you can’t have enough of them. If I recall, last season we played seven different CB’s due to injuries.

On that subject, it’s nice to see that Woody seems to have overcome his injury curse. I am just sorry that he could not do it for us.

Should we spend 7-8mill on Cahill when by all accounts Vertonghen is available for 10mill ?
Early shipping out of Pav,Bassong,Charlie,Pienaar is essential with Vertonghen in Jan 1st and top top striker.

Cahill’s off to Cheatski by the look of it, which means that’s another bullet safely dodged. Hopefully this means we’ll be in for Samba now.

And in a complete break from tradition, can we please try and get our transfer dealings done as quickly as possible this time round? We face City at the back-end of January and it would be comforting to know that we won’t be relying on Defoe and/or Pavlyuchenko to get us the goals up there.

          Cahill is average.Samba’s the man!

I’d like to see us keep Pav, because if anything happens to Ade, we will have to play 4-4-2. Neither Pav or JD have shown that they can lead the line as the sole front man.

What are Stoke doing that our Physio`s couldn`t ? It does seem we could have got more from a very talented defender. Wish him all the best though, except against us.

    • SpurredoninDublin says:

I don’t think it was the physios. Woody has probably been under the knife more times than Pamela Anderson and Joan Collins combined.
