Good morning.

Rumour has it we’re playing football against a shower of odd looking mercenaries tomorrow afternoon.  If was a beauty contest they’d win second prize and collect £10.

Bobby Manc and Arry have had a little bit of handbags which is nice. Arry essentially  suggesting that a partially sighted octogenarian lolly pop lady could win the league with Manchester City’s money. A surreal conversation given that the manager of Colchester United probably says the same about us.

The team then. My guess is that Ledders is being defrosted by Levy & Co’s Cryogenic team as we speak. Here’s my XI:

Brad, A&E, King, Kaboul, Walker, Chicken Badge, PNB, Bale, Azza Blud, vdV and Defoe. Bench: Cudicini, Pav, Livermore and Dos Santos.

I’d give Defoe until half time and not a nano second longer. In the immortal words of Raymond Wilkins, you need to score goals in the Premier League.

With no Adebayor we have to play a different game. They will come at us and we will hit them on the counter. This suits Dafoe and even plays to his strengths. If we are going to win we will have to play fast sharp counter attacking football.
I agree with HH line up fwiw.

Do you think we should play them at tiddlywinks? I agree with you on the Defoe statement, but I think for us to win we will have to score one more goal then they do and make sure they don’t score one more goal then we do.

Its not as simple as that,we have to let in less goals as well.If we score the same amount of goals as them and let in the same amount of goals we are looking at a draw, but on the otherhand if we fail to score and so do they we could also be looking at a draw. Make sense?

I completely and wholeheartedly agree, we have it worked out!!

I predict that it will be unpredictable just to add further clarity.

Thats where I would agree to disagree as unpredicability is what it is…unpredictable, you see you are only guessing when you are predicting so I hope that claifies what your situation has dictated, predicting is an educated guess based on the information you have received before the situation (game) takes place. :freu

I predicted you would say that.

After a series of games we were expected to win, we go into this one as underdogs, and I think the players will have a point to prove. A come from behind 2-1 win
