Tottenham Hotspur F.C. are in the process of scheduling an international exhibition game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore this July.
The English Premier League team is eyeing a three-city U.S. tour, with Baltimore and Los Angeles among the cities poised to host games.
A schedule has not been finalized. Tottenham’s opponents, too, have not been determined.
Diane Pelkey Under Armour Inc. spokesperson.
Under Armour are of course the Baltimore based sportswear maker who have of course just sealed a multi-year deal to provide jerseys and other team apparel to the Tottingham.
Ravens President Dick Cass has said the team wants to bring international soccer back to the stadium in 2012 after not hosting a game in 2011. International soccer exhibitions were played at the 71,000-seat M&T Bank Stadium in 2009 and 2010.
So far Tottingham officials declined to comment. Mark Burdett, vice president of corporate sales and development for the Baltimore Ravens , M&T Bank Stadium’s primary tenant, has also declined to comment.
Tottenham last toured the U.S. in 2010, playing in Santa Clara, Calif., and at Red Bull Arena in Northern New Jersey. Last year, the team toured South Africa.
Previously HH announced Michael Dawson’s deal first with Under Armour HERE.
H, you should organise a beano it would be most agreeable
Be round yours on Tuesday. Lay places for 6. I’ll bring a live lamb and fresh herbs. Seven thirty for eight?
An online beano- everyone bring a bottle.
Don’t worry a bout the lamb’ I have a flock of White Face Dartmoor, what type of skunk are you bringing? Two crates of Special Brew and Tennants extra will be more than enough to bring.
Still think we should sign Hoilet, as he can play either flank or through the middle, is quick and will take players on.
Anyone going to see the Nextgen match against Liverpool next week ?
Hello David. How much are the tickets?
Just seen the price. fiver adults and 3 quid for kids. I think I’ll go. Thanks for the heads up.
Sorry 1 pound for kids
No Probs, hopefully there will be a good turn out for the game.
Every time I go on our clubs shiny new web site my PC crashes. Great!
Its a chance to take my nephews. I look forward to it.
good opportunity to get a look at the future,I remember watching spurs youth at reading in the fa youth cup and then the final that year 25,000 crowd.Got my first look at Perryman and souness the capt then. couldnt wait to see Perryman in the first team didnt have to wait long, unfortunately Souness missed his mum and went back to jockland.think Gary Brooke was in the team as well.
I see QPR managed to persuade the ref to drop the pre-match handshakes today. It would be good to see us do the same when we face Cheatski if Terryble is playing.
Instruction…PNB, you run from box to box for 90 mins, if the ball hits you try to nick it to a white shirt or just boot it forward.
Am i close ?
Bit much though, drop the pre-match handshakes in exchange for a penalty !
see JASPER CARROT gave the pen for chavski winner.
Would love to see Spurs in LA!! Hoping this happens…
