Good evening and welcome the Half Tenner.

No fun. A fun free experience. We’ve  gone 4th. Admission to The Lane was probably worth about a fiver. I will be fascinated to hear the Arry Redschnapps apologistas bravado and bluster their way out of this one. Bottom line is the ‘in Arry We Trust’ mob called it wrong.

The theme of the season and specifically since the Court case has been the absentee landlord approach adopted by our evidently clueless forward slash Yes Men forward slash coaches that infest our club’s payroll.

I take no pleasure in repeating myself – although my spoken word is an aural delight to be savoured – what’s the story with our set pieces? Look I know we crumple and buckle like a paper mache bicycle wheel when other people take them against us, but what about when we’re supposedly in the old driving seat?

Mind the gap? Easily done. Don’t shine that ear torch you palmed from your GP in Arry’s shell like. Redschnapps out, Ian Dowie in and let’s at least give our talented squad some instruction.

Hary Redknathe best manager we have had in ages loook at jol 5th then 5th then dropped to releigation zone at the start of the season and the less said about ramos the better

Harry has got us champions league which none of the previous managers have done. Who cares if this season we come after arsenal 4th place and an FA cup would`t be bad.

But champions league is a must have no champions league
no bale no modric no walker and no adebyor they be off to go play for a club thats in mainstrean europen football

Those words are music to Twitchys ears. I make no aologies for expecting far better than what our current form is bringing. Our position has not been achieved by average players over achieving. We have a quality team that is perhaps the 3rd or maybe 2nd best in the league.
I believe we are where we are IN SPITE of Redknapp

I despair at watching Stoke play anti-football. Thuggery should be saved for the rugby pitch and the flagrant time-wasting and cheating is a disgrace. People will counter with: ah they are just playing to their strengths…do me a favour. I honestly cannot see why people pay money to watch Tony Pulis’ “footballers”. One saving grace is that Stoke tend to throw it into the goal less often nowadays. The England/Redknapp situation needs to be nipped in the bud. Its doing THFC absolutely no good at the moment…to put it mildly

Best squad in the premier league…yes sure.
    Bale`s worth £150m….yes sure.
Players will want to come here….yes sure.
    Top, Top manager….yes sure.
Won`t buy unless we would be improving the squad…yes sure.
What a load of utter shite.

Got to make your mind up arry n ger land or spurs! Then come out and say it! The lads have lost faith in the old man but were stil playing well just lettin in silly goals and struggling for goals. Defoe has to start against the blues drop Saha . If those scummy bstards finish above us well never live it down

    80.1 Passing Success 68.6

    81.2 Tackles Success 58.6

    55.6 Territorial Advantage 44.4
    488 Total Passes 274
    31 Total Crosses 11

Stats sum the game up. We battered them, just had no luck. I don’t know how Redknapp can be blamed for this. He sets the team up to go out there and control the game, make chances. We did that but just couldn’t score enough. This game was not Redknapp’s fault. Other games, maybe, just not this one.

Spurs stats on the left, Stoke City RFC on the right.

complete & utter statistical bollox I’m afraid, I watched the entire game, they had the better chances but woeful finishing mean’t they went begging,

Begovic was a spectator for most of the match – all the shots were straight at him or wide, he didn’t break sweat in the second half.

we’re at home so you’d expect us to dominate possession but I lost count how many times simple passes went astray losing possession – Parker is turning into ray wilkins.

we’ve completely lost our momentum & the players look like they lack the minerals to put us back on track

citeh did us a favour tonight but more performances like this and we’ll be lucky to get 5th

The fact is its redknapp who brought this squad or kept it. We have needed a decent striker for 4 years and we buy saha. We have needed a decent cb for ages and we sign nelson and gallas. We can do better than this but these are redknapp signings. In a seasons time we will have frediel, king, gallas, nelson, parker, saha, cudicini ALL over 30. That’s half the squad and all will need replacing not to mention we need strikers and wingers. Instead of buying for the long term harry buys past it short term options that are injury prone and easily run out of steam. He weakened the squad in jan its cost us. He played players out of position its cost us. He doesn’t set the team up properly against the opposition its cost us. He cost us a place last season in the top 4 by repeatedly playing crouch as a lone striker. A better manager would have done more with tottenham. Would of recognised our needs and signed them. Wouldn’t have signed old players. Would have recognised our strengths to play against opposing weaknesses playing the right personel in there rightful positions and not weakening the squad at the business end of the season. A better manager with this squad would have us in 3rd trying to keep pace with the top 2 and still 10points ahead of arsescum. Redknapp simply is not good enough and has taken us as far as he can.

I was at the game and I’d disagree that we dominated it. Aside from a couple of Modric chances we were devoid of width and ideas. Saha was shocking, hence Gio’s run out (and he wasn’t too bad). Defoe offered nothing. Modric gave up after the hour mark. Parker was poor and needs to be dropped if he continues like this.

If Lennon and Ade don’t come back soon we’re in trouble.

Oh and Rafa, please stay in the box as you’re our best finisher.

i believe the key stat is “shots on target’
