Good evening and welcome the Half Tenner.

No fun. A fun free experience. We’ve  gone 4th. Admission to The Lane was probably worth about a fiver. I will be fascinated to hear the Arry Redschnapps apologistas bravado and bluster their way out of this one. Bottom line is the ‘in Arry We Trust’ mob called it wrong.

The theme of the season and specifically since the Court case has been the absentee landlord approach adopted by our evidently clueless forward slash Yes Men forward slash coaches that infest our club’s payroll.

I take no pleasure in repeating myself – although my spoken word is an aural delight to be savoured – what’s the story with our set pieces? Look I know we crumple and buckle like a paper mache bicycle wheel when other people take them against us, but what about when we’re supposedly in the old driving seat?

Mind the gap? Easily done. Don’t shine that ear torch you palmed from your GP in Arry’s shell like. Redschnapps out, Ian Dowie in and let’s at least give our talented squad some instruction.

I’ve thought for a while that we are destined to battle for fourth. The big question is why. I it it down to several coincident events:
    1. Rednapp being lined up for England. Not because it affected the players but because it’s impacted rednapps decision making. No Defoe when he’s on fire? Bale on the right? Lennon on the left?
    2 – bales belief he’s a central midfielder
3 – Ledleys loss of form and Dawsons injury causing the loss of careless attacking and free scoring spirit
4 – inability to fill lennons boots causing placement of central players on the right who drift in and try and attack through the front door of the penalty area.
5 – inability to play without adebayour up front

    The solution?

Nelson gallas and kaboul. Perm two of three
Bale on the left. Never on the right. Ever.
Walker or dos samtos on the right in lennons absence.
employ some of the expensive coaches to play Saha, Defoe and Vdv as two of three.

Simple..,,except point 1 above means it unlikely. Battle for fourth. Let’s be happy with that.

We were 3rd in the league playing against Stoke. Stats stand for sweet FA unless a positive result is produced. Trout chops was bleating on in a similar manner after we lost to Everton, why didnt he address the issues from that game so we were better prepared for this one?

excellent game from our boys. we were unlucky with referee decisions or we would have won for sure. things can only get better so keep the hope up guys!

The real battle has started. Let’s support the team and good old Arry because without Europa League next year we won’t be able to sign more magical players.

We need more steel and players like Joe Cole and Barton are just what we need to beat Arsenal next season.

    Stay proud!

I am so bleeding angry right now I can barely type this. Redknapp, we know he’s not a tactics guy, but he’s all right because hes a man manager. Apparently. What I saw out there tonight was a team exhausted mentally and physically, which exactly what they shouldn’t be. They were out of ideas and the set pieces are an absolute joke. He has to turn this around. A win at Chelsea has to be the minimum. Right now, about the only scenario that would stop me driving him to wembley myself is if we go on another absurd winnign run. But then he’d probably start believing the hype again, lose his head in the transfer Market and buy keano back from la. I truly believe levy is one of the best chairman in the league, but he can’t let this continue. After the way we played in the first half of the season, if we finish 5th we have to fire ‘arry, no question, because then all redknapp’d be is jol minus the iffy lasagne.

You might want to take a look at the Jol era team. There’ve been a few upgrades since then.

So Harry’s got no excuse for not substantially outperforming Martin, especially since both Chelsea and the Arse are nowhere near as good as they were back then.

The min crap-ello called it a day I knew we were in trouble! Harry has his mind on England and it’s as simple as that! We will be very lucky to finish 4th the way we are playing! The pe-do goons are playing much better! Modric is useless, and we should have taken the hand off the ones offering 40 million!! We Won’t get it again, lucky to get 40 pound
