I’m Told Arry To Quit At The End Of The Season

Good afternoon.

Some will view this piece with contempt based upon my continuous ‘daring’ to point out the ‘frailties’ of what one might refer to as, Arry’s management style. Some will sneer as it’s arguably less than a 50/50 call.

But I don’t blog this for any other reason than the quality of the source. The source is rather good. In fact, pretty much impeccable.

‘I’m not going to give you a quote it’ll identify me! But he won’t be managing the lads next season from what he’s told me and a few others.’

So there you go. Passed on in good faith, all that jazz.

it needs to be confirmed either way by levy for me so the idiotic press and harry commenting on things other than tottenham is nipped in the bud and we all know where we are,i’d rather have yes tottenham till the end of the season and then england from harry rather than merry go round press claptrap

the current situation is giving everyone an excuse for failure,he said, she said, etc, with every loss now it gets more polarised, levy needs to lead strong now before its too late

So…long time reader…old school, SIMB king of the armchairs. :o)

Why is no-one mentioning Guardiola? After all he nearly joined us before :o)

….but seriously, he’s out of contract at the end of the season, (Levy would love a cheap option), he’s done all he can at Barca and he speaks perfect English.

To dare is to do. (I always was a rose tinter)

Arry’s going in May looks pretty obvious to me, here’s why :

    1. FA have stated preference for an English or British person.
    2. Arry is definitely the most qualified English person, and 2nd only to SAF as British person.
    3. Arry’s ‘ultimate job’ statements, pre & post Capello exit, clearly show he wants the job.
    4. FA’s apparent inertia (with Euros 3 mths away)can only mean they are waiting for Arry to finish Spurs season.
    5. FA have already squandered millions with Fabio, so will not hesitate to do same when dealing with Levy on getting their man in time for Euros.

      for the record:
      1. Includes loads of people – about 60 million of us – seriously, could include Hodgson, Hoddle, Bruce or foreign managers like Benitez who have spent significant time in the Prem.
      2. Roy Hodgson has been an international manager, has managed clubs in the Prem and Europe, has been a great success at Fulham and West Brom (considering where the clubs were when he joined and the budgets/players he’d have to work with)
      3. Hodgson has made it clear he is interested, is likely to cost less (salary) and they wont have to haggle with Levy.
      4. Or it could mean they are waiting for other managers to finish the season or be in a position where their results in the last few matches arent so critical (Hodgson?)
      5. Or maybe they have learned their lesson, or maybe Levy wont be willing to strike a deal on any terms.

I know no more than any other guesser, just dont think we should assume anything with regard to Harry
