Good morning.

Well we won despite ourselves. And if you listen to Owen Coyle, against adversity. As previously on ER, I’m bored now. Nobody died and Bolton fans need to look at themselves reviving the Muamba chant late in the game to rouse their players. By the same logic maybe we could have got more out of our lot last season by flashing up images of Wilson Palacios’ relatives on the Jumbotron?

So in a football context…

The positives were certainly Bale who looked like a man restored. Modric planted in front of PNB and Livermore worked excellently. Adebayor and Rafa looked like the mature and talented chaps they undoubtedly are. The most positive positive of all is Arry managing us again.

There, I said it. We have a manager who for the second time in only a few days appears to have grasped what needed doing and acted accordingly. This underlines of course how he went AWOL on us, but it’s refreshing to see him back and taking an interest.

Negatives?

Well we kept making chances and missing them will be the cry. All I can say is I would rather we did that made just 3 chances all game. So no call for anyone out or anyone in from me.

One niggle is I have to question the sanity of these long rang shots unless they’re thunderbolts of eloquently placed. Have you too noticed the increasing, ‘Whaaaat?’ from every guy that misses to his frustrated team mates after missing? Hopefully this can be ironed out by Arry encouraging them to occasionally think of others when in a shooting position.

I have seen one or two articles claiming Spurs should get behind Chelsea’s effort to rearrange the FA Cup Semi to ease their fixture congestion, which will see them play 4 games in a short time in the league, FA Cup and CL. The logic seems to be the FA should aid English clubs playing in Europe and we might need this type of favor our self next season.

    Well, allow me to retort:

    1. F#ck Chelsea. All day, every which way; F#ck Chelsea. The idea of doing anything to aid them makes the bile rise up. Tapping up Modric; loathsome players; neo-nazi fans; buying titles. Ugh.

    2. Easing their fixture congestion decreases our own chances in the Cup. If the Chavs have an eye on playing Barca and decide to rest a few players in the semi, who are we to turn that down?

    3. Easing their fixture congestion decreases our own chances in the league. While I like our chances, a CL spot isn’t nailed on for us. It’d be negligent to allow the Chavs breathing space and possible extra points, which may come at our expense.

    4. Helping them could aid their progress in the CL. It’s unlikely, but suppose the Chavs win the CL but finish 5th in the league. If we finished 4th, they would go to the CL in our place. F#ck that, I says.

    5 F#ck John Terry.

Sure, the FA probably won’t move the semi, but no way should we seem agreeable to any move.

Due to the new found family camaradarie in a football sense I thought it was time to put forward a motion in a football context that all teams participating be awarded trophies at the end of the season, this way all fans would be satified at the end of the season and players wouldnt have to move about to become winners.
Each fan attending games could be awarded supporter of the year statues etc.As I live in the Bahamas I will be designing and printing my own certificate,
H while we are at it can I bagsy the cup final v bindippers podcast. :dizzy2:
