Krancjar Move Confirmed

Afternoon.

Niko Kranjcar ha sconformed he’s off to play for Dynamo Kiev. He has told sportskenovosti.hr in an interview about his International duties…

Clubs have agreed, the rest are still some small details, as I define my terms. I personally am not involved with that, I am dedicated team, I am left to people that I represent.

It’s a pity as clearly he was a very talented player that simply didn’t fit in with Arry’s plans. You’re either in the gang, or you’re not in the gang and it’s this philosophy that breeds disillusionment in players, rather than desire.

After a few bit parts in unmemorable/unwatchable Europa games Niko clearly lost heart and hopefully he can rediscover his passion for football in the Ukraine.

Good to see we are getting of on the the right foot this summer, a nice 20 mil striker, a strong 15 mil defender and a new world beating manager to lead our team to glor…. Er hang on, no same old. Let’s just sell some of the better squad players we have then come August we can loan in some top level has beans, Heard Del Piero is Over 33 and looking for a new club… Surely he can lead the team to glory.

Harry your Blog is great and always gives me a chuckle but your constant sniping at Redknapp is a wearing a bit thin with me.
Yes I know he doesn’t love the club as much as many of us would like and yes he’s made a few dodgy transfers (most of our top players aren’t from the wheeler dealer) but bottom line is in four seasons we have finished 4 twice and 5th once. Our target last year was top 4 we made top 4. Yes we should have nailed 3rd place but how many times did our beloved Martin Jol blow a 2 goal or greater winning position. We have a team capable of fantastic football and half of our fans want to get rid of our manager?
Not one of us wanted Rodgers if he came when Harry was Englands man, now he’s gone to Liverpool we’ve missed a trick!
Keep Harry and buy some players of the highest quality well be fine.

Strikes me that we are back to the February days when ‘Arry first became distracted.

If the players were unaffected by his touted move to the England job, then why are they affected now?

Somebody on another blog suggested that the contract negotiations should not be in the public domain.

And I agree. Why hasn’t someone at ‘Spurs told this prat to shut up and to treat negotiations as confidential?

The sad fact about all of this is that he thinks everyone is as thick as he is. He thinks we will fall for the “poor old ‘Arry” line and fans will put pressure on Levy to come up with a deal that only ‘Arry would want.

It has gone too far, now.

He’s damaging the club with his discontent and courting of other “interested parties”. Players who didn’t give a flying ^&%$ in February must be starting to get a little wary of all of the poor publicity and the damage this is doing to prospective transfers-in.

I’m becoming increasingly resentful of ‘Arry. I’m content – not happy – to see him in place for another year and then he should have a rolling contract. That equates to the typical “payment by results” scenario that senior managers adhere to all over the world.

The only reason I’m content is the fact that there’s no other alternative. If there were, I’d do him for bringing the club into disrepute, breach of a confidentiality agreement (surely they have one?!) and get shot immediately.

There’s no doubt that ‘Arry has a team behind his drive to be DL’s nightmare. The Press; plotting agent(s); and the underemployed radio & TV reporters. They all seem to be working on his behalf.

If DL is out of the country following a close relative’s death – then that really says a lot about HR.

It is extraordinary Bruxie, that given the circumstances that our manager has not the good grace to wait until the seven days of mourning are done.

No, this clown gets an answer phone message and so his next call is to his press mates.

I hope Levy & Co. come out swinging.

He’s the non-twittering, managerial equivalent of Barton.

        A wrong ‘un.

        :shifty:

        • emspurs says:

Not exactly surprising. We’ve known for a while how classless he is. Like Barton, it’s easy spouting philosophical nonsense when everything’s going well, but they get exposed when things don’t go their way.

I’m sure good Daniel is fuming. I certainly hope he is.

    • Alspur says:

In which case, I can only imagine that he’s actually trying to get himself sacked… he’s probably got something else lined up and fancies a bit of compensation on top…

  • nobby nobbs says:

Even the players must feel this is a bit low.
This is more about going to CFC than staying at Spurs.

  • C.O.T.I says:

I think DL is likely to be more concerned at finding a replacement then renewing Redknapp’s contract.
If a suitable replacement can’t be found, then I’d like to see Redknapp told that he has to EARN his extention in the first 3 months of the season.
