Boa noite. That is your actual Portugese that is.

Word from where words come from are that AVB’s much publicised online, ‘hello everyone, this is me at an airport!’ snaps are actually relevant.

The boy VB is the the first through the doors for talks and I’ll tell you this… if true, then what a relief. His CV isn’t exactly what you’d call exhaustive but by the power of Greyskull it’s better than Martinez’s’s’s’s.

If he can’t oblige Levy & Co.’s criteria then I want Capello.  The only blemish on his CV is …oh hang on… there’s a pattern emerging…. ladies & gentiles, may I un-proudly present… John Cadmeister Terry.

This is a class war. Nothing to do with football.

Educated nice boys will always be more acceptable to the likes of Cambridge educated Levy and his cronies. Football has been co-opted by the upper middle classes and people like ‘Arry’ don’t fit in.

AVB and Comolli fit the bill in that respect and to the posh boys who run the club have the final say.

So what if Harry is cockney? So what if he talks to the press, who made the poxy ‘rules’ here? There aren’t any apart from playing good successful football and Harry had done that better for us than anyone else in the modern era. But don’t let that get in the way of your ‘vision of the future’ eh?? Pathetic to a staggering extent, all of it…

‘upper middle class??’ How many classes have we got? I’d hate to be ‘lower middle class’ if I can just be ‘middle middle class’ or even ‘upper working class?’ What a nightmare to be ‘lower working class.’ Get a life…………

I’m afraid if we are going to have any sort of class distinction (which we do as part of life and society) then there will always be sub divisions and variations within each one, whether you like it or not.

There is no need for me to ‘get a life’ because i have an opinion of which you do not share. Calm down…

for someone who waged a relentless war against ‘Arry, HH has gone very quiet since he left. Be interested to hear who he thinks might take us up another notch…..

    • Lilywhite London says:

Well said. H.H has never come forward with a decent candidate to replace Harry that we could realistically get. in fact neither have any of the ‘Harry out’ mob. Moyes, Martinez.. that’s about it.

We don’t spend enough to attract the Jose’s and Hiddinks of this world so we are scraping the 2nd level barrel of managers.

I considered in English football, Harry to be far and away the best we cold get. It will be proven now…

stupid article..writted by a moron, and comments by idiots who obviously have no knowledge of football or business.

harry’s gone, and rightly so i believe, he’d done a great job, but time for a new chapter.

AVB is worth taking a chance…no compensation to pay etc, and no doubt LEVY will negotiate an exit strategy.

Martinez’s CV is immaculate. Building the foundations for Swansea…and performing miracles with the group of donks he has at Wigan.

    • Lilywhite London says:

Why ‘time for a new chapter’? What, just for the sake of it?

I bought we were already in a ‘new chapter’ with Harry and our highest ever Premier league placings over the last 3 seasons.

The previous chapter of Jol out, Ramos in and Comedy Comolli pulling the strings saw near relegation until Harry came and sorted it out… People have short memories, none more than our hapless chairman!! Leave the football to people who know about it Levy…

shows just how narrow minded and unambitious you think the club should be. Finishing 4th and 5th every year is not the place we should strive to be at. We had the ammunition to be challenging for 3rd and close to 2nd/r3d. Harry did a good job, but its obvious he’s not the man to bring spurs to the next level.

what a load of tosh. Levy and Co have been very shrewd in the football business dealings. The have made huge mistakes in the appointment of Juande, and learned from it. We were at the time an excellent group of players who hated playing for Juande, and Harry did not perform miracles. Once Juand left they felt more relaxed and at ease. Same as the situation for Chelsea once AVB left them. They went on to win the Champs league.

No doubt haarry has done a good job. But if you think finishing 4th and 5th is what spurs should be proud of, then you really should accept the decisions football people make, smart people like Levy.

    • Lilywhite London says:

Given that we had only ever finished 5th ONCE since the Premier League started kind of make me think 4th place is pretty good going and we should be proud of it.

If we could carry on getting 4th every season for at least 5 years i would be over the moon as it would also mean a chance of winning the Champions League as well as the money generated.

Also, do you realise we have only the 7th largest wage bill in the league? What do you expect?

I’ve supported Spurs a long time and live in the real world and my memory happens to be longer than that of a goldfish, unlike some people…

  • Lilywhite London says:

Martinez won’t work with a ‘football director’ so i understand so that’s him out the running.

The whole business is depressing, and the ‘Harry out’ trolls must be wondering why a replacement hasn’t been put in place for useless ‘Arry’. The reason for that is the fact that the board are making up the script as they go along. Change of direction my arse!!
