He’s an attacking mid / 2nd striker. Harry always stuck him out on the wing, where he’s not much use. Note this is also where he saw fit to play Modric before Bale came to the fore (also because of him inadvertently impressing as cover for BAE at LB). Modric is not a winger or a wide player in the slightest.
It amazes me how even though Redschnapps is gone, he can still infuriate me just thinking about him and his ‘genius’ tactics.
