Is Nuri Sahin The Lady In Red?

Good afternoon.

I knew today was at best going to be a bit iffy from the moment I was blasted by some Peruvian looking geezers wearing the full red Indian garb in the city centre this morning.

They were playing that timeless South American classic, ‘Riders In  The Storm’ which I kid you not segued seamlessly into, ‘Lady In Red.’

And so to Spanish media Marca.com who are claiming that Sahin is Emptycrates bound.

They say that the idea of a Premiership loan was The Special One’s idea and whilst suggested as a makeweight in ‘Operation Modric’ it was Tottenham that didn’t fancy merely a loan of the Turk.

This would be an unusual move by Aunty Wenger. She doesn’t normally warm to loan deals. But, given that the old goat is certifiably deluded anyway, she probably thinks this sort of thing may impress van Wotsis Name to ‘hang on in there.’

Would be a peculiar move indeed. Considering he spat the doody out when told he was being shifted out of Madrid. I would imagine even a loan would hinder his progress at Madrid, “Out of sight…..”

    Im seriously worried now.
Why would anyone think we will make to 4 with a.much weakened squad?
We have lost or sold pav, saha, peanut, kranjar, ade, ledders, modric, and parkers injured.

The glass is a tad half empty, eh?

We’ll we appear to have signed a bloke called Dos Santos as well as the Eredivisie player of the year, Dawson’s back and we have a tactically astute manager that speak English fluently.

      ;-)

I miss Pav. He had magic in his boots. He was gold in Euros too!

      • crespur says:

Gold? probably the reason why his boots seemed so heavy when he was asked to run and an indisputable reason why he fell over when the ball hit his shins, knees and anywhere else it seems unlikely a football can be controlled.

It is no way Spurs will end up in top 4. Levy will get his £ 40 mill for Luka, 5 minutes before the window closes. Perhaps RM will throw in a loan, a playmaker version ala Frazier Campbell, and when january comes, we got money to buy but no chance in hell to fight for CL places.

The scum and the chavs have workef out the best way to stop us is by beating us to players.its simple we cant improve if the nab the talent before us or just outbid us.

  • nipper says:

….what about dos Santos? A couple days ago HH said AVB was the one to re-ignite his Spurs career. Now they’re in a cat fight. Like the Wurzel though, we should sign him….

I would think Sahin will join us on loan as part of the Rat Boy deal (so something like £34 million and Sahin on loan with no fee and his wages paid for the season)
and if it all works out then the deal will include an option of a permmy move for a reduced fixed fee for say £4 million and if it all goes Pete Tong then Real will owe us an extra £2 million.

Knowing how Levy works i expect its something like that… oh and 1st dibs on Huigain as well

    • BrisbaneLillyWhite says:

I think you’re probably right on the structure of the deal. £33 million + Nuri Sahin for a year sounds very similar to a deal done for a certain sulky Bulgarian. Not sure about the £4 million fixed fee part or first dibs on Higuain though.
