Sherwood: Villas-Boas Will Give Harry Kane First Team Chance

Good morning.

Harry Kane scored nine goals for Milwall last year.

Good news – I think – is that Timothy Sherwood has told NewsAtDen.com that Kane is in André Villas-Boas’ plans.

“We don’t think there’s any value in loaning Harry out to the Championship again. He’s ticked that box.

“He may need a few more games if he’s not in the frame at Tottenham, but he’s going to be given every opportunity to prove himself to the new manager. If the manager decides he’s not ready, that would be the only time we would consider loaning him out.

“But as we stand, we’re not looking to loan him.”

“I know Kenny Jackett because we played together at Watford, so there’s a connection there. Millwall is a good move for our young boys because it gives them experience and it’s local.

“Sometimes it works out, as with Kane, but sometimes it doesn’t, as with Mason.

“I will sit down with the new manager and talk in more depth about his philosophy on loaning younger players.

“We don’t really learn anything from sending players to the Championship for a second time.”

I think we should go for Loris. Failing that, I think we should take a punt on Loris.

I saw Coulibaly v Stevenage. Not as big as Kane and not as good as Messi. pretty pony. PL defences will ruin him.
Get in Carroll get rid of Ade get in Sturridge.
no Berba i spent good money watching that selfish sulky bone idol Bulgar.

i for one find it refreshing that our new manager is giving each and every player at his disposal a geniune chance.

this must keep players who are “nailed on” focused and on their toes and those pushing for a place motivated. I dont want this to sound like redknapp bashing but he did not speak to the youth players and they were not allowed to talk to him.
every question had to go through joe jordan to the point where they just didnt bother anymore.

hope kane makes it, his positional sense is excellent but needs games.

sorry cannot concur on any of your post

we as a team are attempting to retain a top 4 position, possibly improve on it, our current squad will struggle to get top 6 IMO

how we’ll do that with a championship standard players or youth team squad players is beyond my comprehension

the likes of j****, gio and bentley have nothing to prove, we already know they’re second or third rate

we need to invest in the squad with a minimum of two world class strikers to retain our current standing, where are they?

I’m starting to think levy’s pulling a flanker, got himself a few yes men on board and we won’t be signing anyone of note.
