Good evening.

The fifth in the series and this week ODM and I are joined by The Cincinatti Yid who provides a welcome perspective from fan in the USA.

Given the creaking start to the season we look at where we really stand after the transfer window and how long Andrè Villas-Boas ought to be given if we lose at Reading, or indeed if we wallop them.

Other topics include the the thighs of some bloke OneDaveMackay developed a crush on during the Olympic Games as we ask the question, ‘who gives a solitary flip about International football anymore?’

There’s high praise from me for our dedicated away fans as we look at Sunday’s trip to the Madejski and this week’s toe tapping choons are dedicated to Gylfi Sigurdsson and Kyle Walker.

We’ve have a great response from fans wanting to be our guest star and please be assured you will all get involved one by one!

Couldn’t you record Hotspur’s Half Hour after a couple of pints down the local to pep it up a bit?

I think all this talk about AVB being sacked are remature. I wrote Andre off as a “Dud” before he joined us. But now he is our Manager its importantant that we get behind him.I was down at the lane today and found that the service at the ticket office was impeccable and that the shop is now well very well laid out and staffed with helpful and alert staff. The new Under Armour products are well presented. I went to the ground with my wife who thought that Tottenham Hotspur Football and Athletic Club had just built a new stadium, what with the removal of the old facade on the High Road.I was even slightly taken by the new third team shirts. I know that the majority will think that these things are peripheral to the playing squad and the way the game is played on matchdays. I would argue, however, that all these elements contribute the the betterment of our club in its strive towards optimum performance.
Andre is a young man who is industrious and keen to produce a great football team, there will be some that will be unsettled by recent changes in staffing but I believe that the team has shown both balance and shape in its early games, but has lacked the element of suprise in the last third, a lack of composure at the back – which will come with experience. I wish the Manager and the Club all the best of luck in the future and will now return from whence I came.

Well said. It all matters and all the people matter from the stewards to the playing staff to the management and the directors.

In fact we created plenty of chances in our first two games (around 15 in each) so with a fit Ade and Clint we might look a lot different. I think that AVB has serious ability but needs more than a couple of games to get the team playing the way he wants. However, we’ve bought some class players who will I’m sure help us start getting the results soon.

In all fairness, we were seconds away from having 6pts, and that’s with Livermore and Defoe in the side. COYS. Can’t wait as per usual…

:gaehn: Has that damn international break finished yet, I’m bored out of my tiny mind?

Just returned to Hong Kong from Okinawa and while in Okinawa was quite stunned to see 3 US military personnel sitting in a bar all wearing away strip shirts with Dempsey emblazoned on the back!!

Unfortunately was sitting in traffic with a japanese GPS shouting at me in heavily accented english to turn left which would have taken me straight into the bar. And running over these fans is probably not the best way to introduce yourself.

Enjoyed that. A little concerned at only 1-0 especially as walker sores it!
