Everybody Out!

Good afternoon.

You can’t order a cheese roll and when you get a sirloin by mistake moan you about the absence of a steak knife.

And if you hear a more convoluted analogy than that in your life, be sure to let me know. THFC went into that game tactically inept to play a decent side. THFC were quite vocal about the Mickey Mouse nature of the Europa. THFC chuckled quietly as they priced tickets for the Europa. THFC trod a fine line between fact and fiction prior to banking Invetec’s cheque.

So whining over this loss isn’t something you’re going to catch me doing. What we lacked was …our first team against a side that weren’t rubbish who ….decided to field theirs.

I routinely wish Levy & Co well but in this was a mistake and one that will hover around like the rectal gas of a pensioner living on diet of nothing but cabbage soup.

Great to see the kids get a run out. Yeah right. If that was the mission statement then how come we fielded a botch job of a team? You can’t have it both ways (that’s what she said).

You field are full squad or you field the kids. Unless you’re Manchester United. Or Arsenal when they are going through the gears which at this moment in time they are not.

Oh so I geddet, Aitch – you’re blaming Arry. The best man manager Mao Tse Tung! Well, he’s …the m a n a g e r  or did someone else pick the team?

So wot abaht our brave boys having to play twice a week? Talk to Jimmy Greaves, sweetheart. He treated himself to new knees in his 69th year from money he never earned from kicking a ball.

We are very exposed until Dawson is fit; the deterioration in Bassong is alarming, Corluka the same and I wonder if Gallas is ever going to get proper match fit again. So given King’s and Kaboul’s injury record there must be a centre half coming in next month but hopefully not Cahill.

You wonder how strong our squad really is. It is a mystery why we signed Piennar, Rose cannot live on his John Barnes moment forever and Kane is clearly not ready. Perhaps he never will be. Could say the same for Livermore although he does spark every now and again.

We also need another striker. Defoe was terribly anonymous for most of last night

I cant believe you never noticed the boots flying in if we had really tried too win that game we would have a shed full of injuries. You need to go back and look at the game again and see how many passes we had to make to advance ten yards and how many players where in the box defending there goal. You will find it will be about eight even before they lost a player and they kept that up till the whistle went with 10 men. This is the same in every game where there is a shock result and i will bet any money Bolton will play the same way tomorrow because they are desperate for points just like Poak was. I just hope we are ready and score the 3 goals we need to win it and beat this energy . The lad Ngog comes from the team who showed me the secret too there high tempo that has beat Chelsea twice its super fitness and this means you can chase the ball and squeeze the space that allows Modric dictate play and Bale and Lennon space too run into .?We need 442 to beat Bolton either in the first half or the second some skill Luck and a good ref if we get all three we will get or sixth win. 4-1

The performance had the feeling of a dodgy moussaka. Early rumblings, extreme discomfort with digesting, then a steady flow of shit. Feeling empty at the end, but glad it’s all over.

Finish the Andrex, clean up and get ready for Bolton. COYS!

What’s the use offloading Jenas and replacing him with Pienaar???

  • SpurredoninDublin says:

Quote from Defoe: “We have two teams who are capable of playing in the Premier League. It doesn’t matter who we play, we believe we can win”.

So there you have it> We must have put out the third team last night.
