Good morning.

Arry’s come out and defended the boy Bale, saying he’s no diver I see. Well Aitch I hate to be the first to break it to you old girl, but he is a bit of a diver.

I don’t believe  intrinsically that the lad’s a cheat, he strikes me as a decent sort. More a case of Gaz having become increasingly fed up with frustrated players who can’t catch him fair and square giving him the odd trip up, the odd push.

We keep getting these comparisons to Christiano Ronaldo being made about him, but it’s important that Bale ensures that he isn’t tarred with the same ‘cheat brush’ as the Portugeezer.

Here’s my mob for the Mancs then…

Given the inherent speed and potential for goals in this side there is no need for two strikers. This also leaves us with an attack minded bench if required.

The back four is cobbled together, but then it is difficult to remember a time when it wasn’t.

All that remains to be said is that Bale needs to get chalk on his boots and if Dawson or Benny are caught hoofing they agree to being executed live in the centre circle at full time. Method of death tbc but it will involve a threshing machine and some Des O’Connor records. Commentary by Eddie Waring and Stuart Hall.

Eyecatcher bets Anytime goalscorers Niko Kranjcar 7/2, Younes Kaboul 7/1 and 1-1 at half time is a handy 6/1 prices from Boylesports.

am i the only person who believe atleast 3 of those goals the scum scored last week would have been saved by Gomes? he makes the hard saves that Friedel just cant do :/

    • Essexian76 says:

Yes, you are the only one who could believe that, how could you possibly apportion any blame on Friedel?, try looking at the lack of cover offered by King, Benny and Kaboul and then the slackness midfield offered-Gomes’ incompetence cost us massively last term, yet you’re implying that somehow we’d be better off with him in the side?

hes not the only one who believes.when our defence has been torn a new one.give me gomes 1on1 over fried eels any day.

Oh,come off it Melc, the guys a nightmare, great games, but littered with sheer incompetence and a unique ability to cause mayhem and insecurity all about him. He can’t organise a defence and makes stupid rash decisions that have caused us so many problems. We’ve had to bring two keepers (Cuddles and Friedel) because of his incompetences don’t forget, and he’s that committed that he’s not even challenging a 40 year old, which sort of sums him up in a nutshell. Soonest gone and forgotton or has he left already (i)

I’m with Essexian here, Gomes is a nervous wreck who visibly shakes when a shot comes in, he scares his own defence, never mind the fans and should be put out to pasture while we still can…..

Iv’e always stuck up for Gomes but bringing him back now would be putting too much pressure on him,I think the magnifying glass he would be under would burn him badly. It ain’t gonna happen anyway.

That Redknapp, what a useless cad he is. You would have thought he’d have told them how useless they are like a proper manager. :dizzy2: :hae:

Liverpool should be out of sight in this game. Awaiting a last gasp winner for the scum.
