Good evening.

Talk about feast of famine. Nothing for days and now this. Marca another Spanish outlet are saying that Luka Modric has agreed terms with The Special One at Real Madrid.

The unsurprisingly quote free article cites the lack of Champions League football as an influencing factor in the move.

The fee they are estimating in the region of €35M.

Sell him, he’s a good player but people are willing to pay great player money for him.
If he goes abroad its an even bigger win.
I’m sure Dean Austin scored more goals than he did anyway.

And H bring us some good news eh?
    Vertonghen?

  • wilboid says:

Yeah if we can have that ponce Ronaldo in return.

Harold – I didn’t like it when you tried to hold yourself out as a man with deeply considered and intelligent opinions. I like you even less now that you pretending to have the inside track on what goes on at Spurs even though we know you are just trawling the websites of all the other bottom feeders out there.

For those of us who have supported Spurs through decades of mediocrity, punctured by the occasional cup triumph, your hounding of a man who established us a consistent Top 4 contender shows you to nothing more than a blogger who is interested in advertising hits rather than rational debate.

Mug. The squad got the results despite Redknapp not because of him a decent manager would have done more with the resources available to him.

In that case, it wasn’t Harry’s fault we collapsed at the time of the England manager speculation. You can’t have your cake and eat it.

You remind me of the story of the Yank that thought because his mobile home was an “automatic” he could get in the back and make a cup of coffee and it would drive itself!
Harry might well have had his faults, but he does deserve (positive) credit for what we achieved during his time as manager.
If Levy was hoping Harry was going to get the England job and we would get some compo, surely he would have had a replacement lined up – it would appear not though!

        • essexian76 says:

Perhaps after showing Harry loyalty during his court case and the offer of a new improved long term deal upon aquittal, Levy wouldn’t have considered looking for replacements, but then again perhaps Levy had far more trust in Harry and thought he was one of us? how wrong can you be eh?

    • astromesmo says:

So, would you attribute Modders leaving to Harry Hotspur, Harry Redknapp leaving or to said HR failing to ensure CL football next term?

    • Harry Hotspur says:

Where you dropped on your head as a baby?

      Repeatedly?

    • Mike says:

Shouldn`t that be Henry (historically speaking).

  • Madrid gooner says:

Ha ha poor Spuds spent all last season telling us how they are now the super power of London, an how all our players will leave. Now look what’s happened. Forever in our shadow. COYG

Now jog along over the river gypo scum!

    • Lordy says:

you do know we’ve still won something more recently than you ?, right?

    • essexian76 says:

Is it school holidays already? how time flies!

    • super_spurs says:

Madrid gooner….you must be an excellent, home raised fan.

      • astromesmo says:

Actually, he’s in the best place to watch most of the Ar5ena1 side next season. He can pop down the road to watch Cesc or stay home to see RVP. If Citeh draw either of them in the CL he can even watch Nasri. Last one out turn out the lights.

        • Madrid gooner says:

A bit touchy arent we? Is it the inbreeding that makes all you Spuds deluded? Just accept your place in the great scheme of life. Forever in our shadow. Does not matter how bad a season we have, we always have you inbreds with your 2nd rate club to laugh at. Champions League your havin a laugh!

        • Mike says:

Podolski, Giraud, + at least 2 more. Looking good already!

Are you reading everything twice or just seeing double. Do you have to rehearse often because you can’t recall after about three words what you said?

        • Phil McAvity says:

Inbreeding? That’s a bit rich coming from someone who supports a team that starts off with the word ARSE!

        • Mike says:

Please no rudeness Madrid. Light hearted banter is perfectly ok.

        • kenny powers says:

          Deluded??????
Bet you weren’t saying that last Xmas.
ALL fans are a touch deluded as we all think our team should be doing better than they actually are. Even city and utd fans

      • essexian76 says:

        He was never confused though

    • Boy Charioteer says:

I was castigated the other day, complaining about the quality of visitors from other parts of London. Nevertheless if you can’t come up with at least a modicum of constructive criticism, kindly f**k off.
