I’ll give AVB the whole season, and if he’s allowed it, beyond. I’m on the ‘new young turk’ bandwagon for sure but that won’t stop me assessing each match with the cold and ruthless eye of rational thought.
Faith is the denial of observation.
Before the start of the season I said it’s 50-50 how it will go with AVB, either we have a great season (champ league place + a cup) or total disaster (mid table etc). After 2 dodgy results my views have not changed. It’s way to early for that (even Ramos was given 8 games). And we have the transfer window to see who we will sign and who will go! But if we don’t beat norwich next week then I’m afraid the knives will be out whether I agree with it or not!!! COYS
Basically we’ve a darling of a starting fixture list and if we don’t get 12pts from our 1st 6 games we’re fucked.
We’d expect 13pts and still can, just. Lets hope the players are taking to him ok.
Unfortunately due to circumstances and work, I’ve missed both matches so far this season, and any highlights there of.
I once also missed the long jump competion I was entered in at a school’s athletics meet when I was 14.

just wasnt clinical enough today but we do miss that creative player as hard as livermore works and tackles the guile and passing isnt there( did play well tho) apart from that we looked really slick for large parts of the game promising signs with a couple of quality signings next week we be right up there again.
