Bad News For AVB Haters

Good morning.

This from a proven decent source and bound to irritate the hell out of the naysayers, bedwetters and other lingering Arryites. It’s my understanding that Andre Villas-Boas’ position at the club is very much secure. For how long? Well not just this season but the next one too.

This considerable support is conditional of course. If the boss were to be linked with a vacancy elsewhere and suddenly went missing, spent his day whoring himself to the press, neglecting his THFC duties or otherwise managed to drive us into the relegation zone then you can guarantee he’d be toast.

But the plan as I understand it is to factor in Boas’ resources, review what support the Club can offer and to forge a path that will offer longevity.

Will this initiative designed to offer stability please those that claim to wish Spurs well but not the manager? Who cares. At this rate QPR will be back in the Championship next season and there are bound to be openings for supporters who want to sit in cosy, old fashioned stadium telling each other how staunch they are.

The worst thing that happened in recent times to this club was Arry screwing us over so blatantly after giving us a taste of Champions League football. Suddenly too many clowns believe it’s a god given right and have been acting like outraged consumers ever since. Spoiled children each and every one. Empty seats at Europa games and only boos to break the frosty silence during league games.

The very idea that you can separate your support for the Club and the manager is beyond parody. Oh, of course unless you’re following the Blackburn Rovers model.

Harry H is a big mouth clown. Harry Redknapp was the best manager we had in the last 20 years who delivered two top four finishes and a fifth place with a champions league quarter final thrown in. All he needed was proper backing from our joke of a Chairman in January and third place at least would have ben a formality. I have nothing against AVB but we didn’t need yet another transition period with a novice manager. Levy then compounded his mistakes by failing to back AVB in the transfer market and stripping the squad bare, so we can no longer cope with injuries. They are the facts, Harry H.

      That’s not diillusioned.

      That’s bloody stupid.

We are not privy to what goes on…but I do know that the future looks good.

New stadium in the pipeline; new training facilities; a decent youth policy at last.

In a couple of years you’ll still blame Levy for not delivering the UCL. Who do you want instead? You cannot kick owners out of football clubs unless they really want to go and Levy is doing an excellent job as far as the owners are concerned.

Will you unfurl the “Levy Out” banner at the next home game? Like Blackburn?

You are in the minority. Thank god for that.

So you honestly believe that if HR had stayed on-that we’d be in good shape-This, knowing we’d still lose Modric and all the others? Who do you think HR would’ve replaced Modric with? Who do you think Harry would’ve played during the current injury crisis? Would Walker still be shit because Harry didn’t sort him out last season, when his form began to wane did he?-So, how would keeping Harry really have made a difference do you think?

      @Disillusioned fan

Just how has the collapse of communism effected you on a day to day basis?

        .
Hmmm…. the first half of Disillusioned’s post does appear to be factual and the second half fairly well reasoned if a tad presumptuous. Fair post I reckon but then I do suffer from a non reactionary zeal.

        Nice work Dis’lusioned.

I would question everything you have just said, but I couldn’t be arsed.

  • Rupert says:

Why is it that all of the fans hating avb or liking Harry sound like they’re 14?

Dembele back according to tweeps, anyone know of any news on Parker, BAE etc?

Get our players back soon and 4th is still realistic, AVB needs some luck with injured/sent off players. 3 points against WH at the weekend and we’re back, COYS

  • Rupert says:

Oh and let’s get an addition in Jan to go with Ade, Kaboom, BAE, Parker, dembele coming back. Willian would do

  • philmccrackin says:

    AVB FOREVER :ninja:

  • melcyid says:

last feb arry redcrapp was offered a long contract,He declined, he declined not Levy. blame the trout for the position we have found ourselves in and get behind our current spurs manager who wants to be a success and is prepared to work hard for it.

    • Bruxie says:

      Yep.

HR wanted to keep the compo from England to a minimum.

Looks a bit stupid now, though.

Trouble is…that’s not what the papers printed. They preferred to ignore that little titbit.

    • philmccrackin says:

      TWITCHY OUT :ninja:

    • philmccrackin says:

TWITCHY was backed when he was up in front of the beak but decided to S**T on us.NOT WORTH THE INK.TWITCHY OUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT :ninja: :ninja: :ninja:

    • Essexian76 says:

As I said before-A guy goes out buy’s a gun and bullets-holds it in his own hand, then put’s to his own head and fires it-but somehow that’s classed as murder?
