Nearly all bottom half sides come to WHL for a point but they also do this at Chelsea, Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool so we shouldnt be surprised when they play 451 but what we have to do is break this down. It was a shame BAE went off injured but it did show that playing Bale at LB gives a different option, he almost had the freedom of that left hand side for the whole of the first half and put some great balls in the box, after being walloped 3 or 4 times in the first 5 mins by 2 or more defenders.
Harry then check mated himself in the second half by bringing lennon on in the second half and instead of giving width on both sides which you need to do, honest, against teams that defend like this he sits on the left and means bale couldnt get forward into any space!

11-1 on corner kicks. We never looked dangerous on a single one, never won the 2nd ball. Harry must have one person on his staff to teach them one or two tricky plays. We are so predictable, it’s painful to watch. When we win a corner, it’s as good as a cleared ball to the half way line. :pinch:
