The current Tottingham frontline couldn’t score in a Chinese brothel with a pocket full of rice. Would you do a deal with the devil? I think I’m on record as saying that this son of ****** Baldgarian actually came from a place that was so low that even the rats was hunchbacked. I remember watching The Paul Daniels Magic Show and he had Robert Maxwell on as a publicity seeking stooge. The Bouncing Czech repeatedly plugged his organ – Daniels hushed him, saying to camera – ‘people play tricks with mirrors. The Daily Mirror are suggesting that he could return…

I’m not alone in always having loved the eclectic mix of contributors to this blog. I am after all merely the the first bloke to daub its walls. The best stuff for me has always lay beneath the line. The last result of the fearless Tottinghams reheated a few chestnuts that if real, the vendor really ought have binned ’em long before then. SpurredoninDublin raised some very, very good points in some of his recent comments and this is an exercise in debate rather than attempt to brainwash those unconvinced. And so a not inconsiderable ‘thank you’ for this evening’s…
Guten Tag. Later today I thought we’d really get in amongst it and discuss team tactics not just on the pitch but from the boardroom down. And our wage bills and specifically that wage cap business and try to reflect upon some particularly astute comments that you lot have been sharing over the last week. But first, it’s a Bank Holiday morning and there really is no need for such argy bargy so early. So as it feels like a Sunday, here’s my online Sunday Supplement . It come courtesy of a young man by the name of Matthew Craig…
So Manchester United grind out three points. We’re incapable of grinding coffee beans. West Brom? Sorry to be awfully disrespectful, but this is the side that thought they’d won the lottery when landing Uncle Woy as their supremo. Believe it or not I stand by Redschnapps. Those amongst you who revel in stats can investigate but he’s worked miracles. He has his limitations but who amongst us doesn’t? As I recall Stephen Fry’s ‘flawed genius’ speech on Cooky. My beef is with the players. I don’t see much merit in ripping into anyone specifically. But the Tottenham Malaise is still there,…
Good Greebling, West Brom indoors then and I promise to do my best to not be the stuck record I have become in such instances. You know what I’m talking about. We go to work in the most proper fashion against a good team (and Arsenal) and then we act like confused goats against a so called lesser sides. If we play against this lot like we did against Le Arse, we’ll smack this mob 4-0 or more. West Brom aren’t awful, far from it. They sit 3rd in the Barclay’s Premiership Form Guide. Might I be candid? I’m getting…
I’ve just taken the call that confirms it.
Highly esteemed friend of the show Chris Toy the geezer behind the excellent and the innovative Studs-up.com has a range of footy tee shirts out as I am sure you know. I have them proudly displayed in my Schmutter dept.
Prontaprint. Those were the days. The digital age must have cut truer and cleaner than the sword of Islam. Oh well, they charged the earth, so they didn’t die broke. He’s a goodie courtesy of Citizen Fatfish and to enter into the spirit of things, the prize isn’t some dreadful book autographed by a footballing legend worth a small fortune on the black market. No, today’s winner gets a snide Royal Wedding mug autographed by me using a permanent marker pen. If that doesn’t keep entries down, I’m not sure what will. I’m nipping down the shops to score some…
The morning after the night before.
Arsene Wenger is a rare beast. You saw his petulant handshake with Arry at the end? Forget Sluralix’s siege mentality – this guy has actually gone over the edge and is now living in a fantasy he’s convinced is reality.
A ten year old could tell you that additional time is a minimum, but Arsene was staggered the 8 minutes wasn’t the end of it. He’d argue black was simply a slightly darker shade of white, tell you it wasn’t raining as the water teamed down his daft quilted caterpillar coat. There are crocodiles in Egypt less in denial [I’m here all week].
First up – apologies for another collapse this afternoon. I’m not talking about the incident in Asda where it dawned on me that ‘picking up a few bits’ was a poor idea after a morning of perfecting the ultimate Absolute Cranberry. I understand that the person responsible for HH being offline again was dragged by their ear to a place that everyone else in the static home office could readily view them and severely pistol whipped with a Luger. A fitting repercussion on a day that would’ve been the Fuhrer’s birthday. So to the football. Arsenal drift from one fiasco…
