Good morning. A grim start to proceedings then as we woke to the news that the inherently racist Lazio Ultras greeted Tottenham fans in the Drunken Ship public house Rome at about 0130hrs this morning in the traditional manner; battering and cutting them. 100 armed Ultras attacked leaving a current count of seven Spurs fans wounded and two stabbed. The Italians baring Lazio colours wielded baseball bats, knuckledusters and knives. Some wore helmets. The police and fire service attended the scene and whilst arrests were made, many of the cowards involved fled. Italian media suggests that CCTV fotage of Campo…

Good evening. Given the mood in the Spurs camp getting coherent information is a blessing. So a sincere thank you to ‘Mr S’ who kindly shared the news yesterday with us that the boss is going to get some proper support from Levy & Co. This manager isn’t going to be binned on a whim. He was selected for a host of reasons and it is ambitious to suggest that much aside from the poor bar steward’s resources have changed. Daniel Levy remains behind the Portuguese boss and is ready to give him significant funds to spend in the transfer…

Good afternoon. The latest Hotspur’s Half Hour is here. And this week’s extra special guest is Spurs fan Bob from NYC who shares his views on this whole Andre Villas-Boas business plus an insight on how Clint Dempsey is viewed in the United States. ODM and I discuss at some length the sanity of not giving the boss time and resources in which I suggest some people shouldn’t be allowed cutlery and reflect upon the tragedy that is being dropped on ones head as an infant. We look back briefly at Adebayor’s red mist, red card then red face but…

Good morning. This from a proven decent source and bound to irritate the hell out of the naysayers, bedwetters and other lingering Arryites. It’s my understanding that Andre Villas-Boas’ position at the club is very much secure. For how long? Well not just this season but the next one too. This considerable support is conditional of course. If the boss were to be linked with a vacancy elsewhere and suddenly went missing, spent his day whoring himself to the press, neglecting his THFC duties or otherwise managed to drive us into the relegation zone then you can guarantee he’d be…

Good morning. It’s funny how people’s minds work when they become anxious. The boss’ line up was naive, the changes he made a no brainer if you listen to those that don’t wish him well. After Arry’s appearance MOTD the same mob are anticipating QPR finishing 5th. And does anyone know why Arry has his arms on his seat like he’s driving a wheelchair? If we learned much from yesterday it is that Jamie Redschnapps is a malicious toad that we need reinforcements. This was proof if it were ever needed that we did indeed get off lightly against City.…

Good evening job seekers. 5-2 eh? That wasn’t very nice, was it? Well, that agreed I had asked the boss yesterday for a 442 away and bless his strawberry blondeness …he obliged. That tactic undoubtedly gave us something of an initiative – because we scored. Also we looked at that stage as if our frailties might stand more than half a chance if we took that approach. So to the Adebayor thing. I know many of you were not watching on Sky so it may not bore everyone to share that Gary Neville said that he felt that Togo’s finest…

Good evening. I’ve been accused of being a Villas-Boas apologist! I guess I can ask for no fairer trial than to ask that any blogs I made demanding Arry’s head after 10 or 11 or 12 games be taken into consideration. After a day reading and listening to many a Gooner thoughts about Aunty Wenger on tomorrow’s game after years of them achieving Champions League participation I think I’m even less in tune with so many of our two bob fans who want the boss gone if we don’t win tomorrow. Tomorrow won’t be dull. That’s for sure. I predict…

Well here we are then ladies. This week’s runners, riders and me the mug punter’s mug punter guiding you down the quickest path to bankruptcy and daytime drinking. Arsenal vs Tottingham Hotspur This is rapidly becoming an game of last man standing. We know who we are without. This is Arsene Wenger on his own physio room woes: “Apart from long-term injuries I get a bit confused because we have so many players who come back with injuries or small injuries. We need to see how they are today. Szczesny, Sagna, Walcott, Chamberlain, Arteta, Giroud – there are so many…

Good morning. We face the oldest enemy tomorrow. No, not gout but a blight upon our being every bit as burdensome. The Arse. The North London Derby or as it is in reality a peeing up the wall competition that sadly has left us all too frequently with little more than wet feet and our old chap clasped in our hand. This week’s podcast then required nothing less than a top draw guest for a preview and Arseblog kindly obliged. We discuss the tipping point for Arsene Wenger though sadly not where he ought be tipped. What was interesting was…
